Granamyr in MotUC Discussion w/ package images

How many of you would like Granamyr as a character?

If you do, can you think of a good way to make him availlable? He isn't really 6".
The chances are pretty slim we'll be getting him unless they use him as a con-exclusive or something, but still... We can speculate right?

That's the thing... He is supposed to be huge, so I guess he falls in the vehicle/playset area. And we'll probably won't be getting any of those.

Thirded. Granamyr is about the ONLY BAF that I want to see them do. Well, maybe Multi-Bot as a BAF.
But not Modulok

I believe that is gonna be a figure only line. And I'd be fine with that. So with that being said build a figure would be the way to go.

This is what I'm thinking as well. I'm not too sure if they have the rights to do Granamyr as how he looked in the Filmation version. I don't remember if he was in the mini-s or not but they could sort of argue that he was the dragon from the 200x episode.

If they do end up releasing some of the larger characters as BAF they should set aside a specific amount of months to block off a sort of 'mini' wave within the figures that would complement the BAF. (Not sure how they'd do it with Granamyr though) For example...

Multibot/and or/Modulok should be released within 3-4 months in a row of Horde characters.

Serpent/transformation form King Hiss should be spread out over 3-4 months in a row of Snakemen.

If they could do Sorrowful (it might be an easy repaint of Granamyr with a new head) could come in 3-4 months in a row of Rebellion characters.

You get the picture....

They could even do the same with King Greyskulls battle lion. Release pieces of him within a mini wave with Veena and a few member of the council of elders.

I remember a few years ago someone posted a custom on ebay that was made from a Mcfarlane spawn line Malebolgia that was very cool

There was a great thread started a while back about the possibilities of MOTU BAFS. Its too bad the thread wasn't started 2 years prior, maybe Mattel would not have missed the boat on that one.

BAF is definitely the way to go for the larger characters but the only problem is it's going to take 7-8 months to build your figure.

I think he was in the mini comics. But he may have been in the Euro comics. So I might be getting confused. I'm gonna check that out right now.

Well I can't find it but sure I saw it a few years back. I'll look tommorrow as well.

He definitely WAS in the mini-comics. I don't remember which but I do remember as a kid being excited because I saw him in the cartoon and recognized him from the comic.

Oh, we "could" do Granymyr since he appeared first in a min comic, but he would be very expensive to tool. We'll have to see how Battle Cat does first before considering larger items. And Cornboy is a huge fan of this character, so we know the Horsemen would do it right!

Granamy is one of my all time favs, and that's my fav of hte mini-comics. Hope to see him some time in the future. I'd rather have him than any of the other vehicles, that's for sure!
