The Torrance Marriott is now SOLD OUT. No more rooms are available at either the Power-Con discount rate or their regular rate.

Thanks to you, this show has grown by leaps and bounds in only two years. Power-Con has become a “MUST ATTEND!” event if you are a fan of TMNT, He-Man, She-Ra and ThunderCats!

Other hotels are still available. Please click here for more hotel and ticket info. And thanks to everyone for your support.

not surprising (and GREAT for the show... congrats Val, Jon, Rachel, Danielle, Karla, Dan and the rest!!!!), BUT...
now the desperate cry officially goes out!...
is there anyone who has a room and is staying at the Marriott who'd like to split their costs in half by sharing with me?!?!?!
(selling out so far in advance just doesn't offer me and my circumstances enough leverage to get a room so early, and, truthfully, seems far better to pay half as much anyway, and I really have no interest in trying to orchestrate staying at another hotel)... so...
anyone? where ya at? i'm harmless, and an easy roomy! really! ask Scotward! *smile* if agreed, I can give you full payment in cash immediately upon arrival to the hotel for my half... so ya see, you'll have more to spend on-site. *wink*
honestly, if anyone out there is interested, PLEASE pm me... I don't have plane tickets or even an event ticket yet, but WOULD really like to go for the 3rd time if possible... YOU have the power, to help me do so!
FYI, i'd hope, as in the past, to stay Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
please let me know, everyone/anyone, and i'll hope to see you all there again!

If it comes down to it, the rooms across the street at the Double Tree are pretty cheap! And it's a good hotel too.

Skeletor and the Four Horsemen will be appearing this year!

Alan Oppenheimer, the original voice of Skeletor, is headed to Power-Con this year! In addition to Skeletor, Mr. Oppenheimer voiced many other beloved characters in Filmation’s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and She-Ra Princess of Power such as Man-At-Arms, Cringer, Battle Cat, and Merman.

With an extensive resume, you have seen or heard Mr. Oppenheimer on such shows as The Smurfs, Filmation’s Ghostbusters, BraveStarr, Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters, DuckTales, Murphy Brown, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Legend of Prince Valiant, and Superman/Batman: Public Enemies (just to name a few!).

Note: Alan Oppenheimer will be appearing on Saturday only.

Eric “Cornboy” Mayse, Eric Treadaway and Jim Preziosi, part of the legendary Four Horsemen Toy Design Studios, will be appearing at Power-Con 2013.

But that’s not all! The Four Horsemen, who served as the inspiration for the Fighting Foe Men, will be there as well. Come out to Power-Con to meet them in person!

    Owen “O-Dawg” Oertling aka Dawg-O-Tor
Sherri Lynn Cook aka Shieldmaiden Sherrlyn
    Shane Dittsworth aka Dittstroyer

As if you didn’t already know, the Four Horsemen were responsible for the fantastic toy designs we saw in the 2002 Masters of the Universe relaunch and the current Masters of the Universe Classics adult collector line.

If anyone was still debating on whether or not to get a dinner ticket, we are very close to selling out all the available seats. Less than 25% remain.

    http://www.thepower-con.com/2013/07/...e-yours-today/

Have you checked out Power-Con's "Roast Gooble Dinner" Package? This is an extremely rare opportunity for fans to sit down and have dinner with many of the talented individuals who helped bring He-Man, She-Ra, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and ThunderCats to life!

ROAST GOOBLE DINNER PACKAGE includes all items in the POWER PASS (2-day pass, 30 minutes early access to the show, priority line privilege, all three Dave Wilkins prints, $5.00 discount on t-shirt orders [t-shirt discount until July 31]) plus a coveted spot at the extremely limited seating Dinner with many of the creators appearing at the convention.

Some convention dinners seat one creator with a table of fans. But at Power-Con, the creators often outnumber each fan at the table 2 to 1! You get to have one-on-one personal conversations with the creative minds behind these amazing properties.

Available while they last: $350 per person -- Purchase your Roast Gooble Dinner Package Today!

Who will you be dining with? Currently attending:

    • Martin Arriola - He-Man toy designer

    • Nathan Baertsch - He-Man artist/designer

I am totally going to Power Con this year. I am lucky enough to be in driving distance. I can't wait! SDCC 2008 was the last con I was able to attend. This will be so fun after all these years. Cant wait to see everyone there!

No date has been communicated, but last year it was around the third week of August.

    You've been warned.

After two years of disappointment, I'll finally be there Mark. So yeah. High fives.
