She was 6 days early. Nobody had a problem with her traveling so late. Not even the airline said anything. She just stayed off of the bumpy rides at Disneyland and Universal Studios.

Michelangelo, the Sorceress, and Lion-O headed to Power-Con 2013!



Who will be in attendance this September at Power-Con? We are ready to begin the process of revealing our guest list! Keep checking back for continuous updates! First up are Michelangelo, the Sorceress, and Lion-O!

TOWNSEND COLEMAN
Mr. Coleman is a popular voice actor famously known for his portrayal of Michelangelo on the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series. In addition to Mikey, his voice also brought various other Turtles characters alive such as the Rat King, Usagi Tojimbo, and Rahzar.

CHRISTINA PICKLES
An Emmy nominated actress, Ms. Pickles portrayed the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull in the 1987 live action Masters of the Universe motion picture. She has appeared in numerous television series, perhaps her most famous being the role of Nurse Rosenthal on St. Elsewhere and as Judy Geller, the mother to Ross and Monica on Friends.

LARRY KENNEY
If you watch TV or listen to radio, you know his voice or more accurately, his voices. Larry Kenney famously brought life to Lion-O, Lord of the ThunderCats, from the original ThunderCats cartoon and voiced Claudius, Lion-O’s and Tygra’s Father, in the new ThunderCats series from Cartoon Network.

We wanted to let everyone know that half of our hotel block at the Torrance Marriott South Bay has already sold out! If you want to get in on our discounted hotel rate, act now!

The convention dates are Saturday, September 14th and Sunday, September 15th. Discount room rates are available for Thursday, Friday, and the nights of the convention on Saturday and Sunday.

• Single/Double occupancy standard room: 115.00 a night


• Triple occupancy standard room: 125.00 a night


• Quadruple occupancy standard room: 135.00 a night

You can also make reservations over the phone by calling 800-228-9290 using the group code "POW" for Power-Con.


All reservations must be made before Friday, August 23rd to qualify for the group rate.

Last year our discounted hotel room block sold out before the show. But, the hotel saw a sizable amount of last minute room cancellations in our room block. Because of this, many attending fans were unable to get the convention's discounted room rate for their hotel stay.

Due to the increased popularity of Power-Con and to help insure more attending fans will get the discounted rate, the hotel will be charging the first night's stay for all new reservations. Once you make your reservation, your credit card will be charged the first night's stay in approximately 48 hours. This only applies to reservations made starting today.
