SUBSCRIPTION Mosquitor & Procrustus ARRIVAL Thread

My subscription Mosquitor and Procrustus just came! Here is a quick pic, more to come later tonight (at work). Also, my free gift was Mer-Man. Procrustus is amazing and it is very nice to finally see Mosquitor, though I'm gonna pull those insect legs off - glad they are removable

Merman? Nice! I'd gladly take a second one of him. Hope my freebee is Merman!
Right or wrong, buying a sub tells Mattel you want more MOTUC figures. Not buying does tells them you don't. Don't let MOTUC end early because you might not like their marketing strategy! Plus polls show you won't regret subbing!

    Oh I'd love another Mer-Man!
I'll use his vintage head so Mer-Man can have a "soldier."

he was a flash sale on Cyber monday.

I figure what is left of those and other unshown stock will be what is given out.

Well, Mer-Man wasn't a Monday flash sale, really, but he was one of the characters available throughout the extended black friday sale. Assuming that they're pulling the free figures from the list of basic (like, no Vykron, Marlena, or beast) characters that were available during the sale, and knowing that no characters released in 2012 will be included, that leaves the following as potential free figures:

    He-Man
    Skeletor
    She-Ra
    Bubble Power She-Ra/ She-Ra 2.0
    King Hsss
    Hordak
    Hurricane Hordak
    Battleground Evil-Lyn
    Battleground Teela
    Buzz Off
    Clawful
    Catra
    Moss Man
    King Grayskull
    Mer-Man
    Faceless One
    Sy-Klone
    Grizzlor
    Vikor
    Faker
    Stratos
    Chief Carnivus
    Count Marzo
    Icarius

I seem to remember these three selling out during the sale, so they're probably not included:

    Zodak
    Snout Spout
    Adora

And these were the actual Cyber-Monday Flash sale characters, so they might be sold out or only left in tiny quantities.

    Evil-Lyn
    Man-at-Arms
    Trap-Jaw
    Man-E-Faces
    Webstor
    Keldor
    Leech

There, that's enough procrastinating for the day I'll be curious to see if what everyone gets matches this list.

I wish that we're true, my last name starts with an A and I didn't get my shipment last year till mid January.

Can't wait for Mosquitor! Frankly, I could have cared less about this guy until Dan really stoked the fires with his interest (that transference is odd, but it happened what can I say), and the figure itself looks fantastic! Procrustus less so, but only because I'm not overly fond of the larger scale 'beasts'. He does look awesome though, so perhaps having him in hand I'll be swayed to the side of the converted.

I really wouldn't mind getting a mer-man. My original one had a slight paint imperfection around the nose that drive me nuts, I like both heads and put on the card back one, but I like the cat head still.

Nope, because I got my sub the moment they went up and I don't have my shipping confirmation.
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.

Just got my Procrustus and Mosquitor. Bonus figure was Buzz-Off. Procrustus right rear arm was a pain in the butt to get on.

I second that emotion. Almost broke my thumb getting it on. People should hold the arms up in front of a light source and see how thin the extra arms are. I could see light through them.

Mine came Friday, but I didn't get home from work until midnight and left early Saturday morning to see the folks, so I I only had time to open the shipping box and I got 2 Stratos. Can't wait to get home in a few days a d free everyone from their plastic prisons, when I have some time to really enjoy them!

Gummy hands aside, I have to say these are a couple of my favorite figures so far. Mosquitor has been a long time favorite, possibly my most favorite from childhood. Procrustus exceeded all expectations, I don't even have the other giants displayed but I found space for Procrustus, the sculpting is just impeccable. Very happy with this months figures for sure. Or last months figures actually. Thank you Matty and Four Horsemen!!!

My bf said he thought Procrustus* looked like a buff Santa Claus and "fixed" him for me. You can see my bonus figure Stratos behind him.

*He originally pronounced his name as Perspectus to which I added the Heroic Master of Mutual Funds. We had a good laugh. He tries. Bless his heart.
