WIP MotUC Powersword Container

Hey guys,

just wanted to show you some WIP pics of my current project. The container the powersword was taken from in the 200X animated series. I made it to fit the normal MotUC Powersword because IMO in that canon it is the sword that belongs into it. I'm going to try and cast it so the price will be achievable. This prototype by shapeways costs a small fortune because of its size

I actually just thought of this, but since MOTUC Grayskull wont obviously have a place sculpted for this case... maybe you should consider creating a large crystal bed [like your coradite Crystals on shapeways] that are shaped to hold this case with a flat bottom so it LOOKS LIKE it was part of the sculpt to sit inside grayskull just on any ol floor in MOTUC Grayskull near a wall.

why not put the iron cross on this one that holds the traditional powersword and have two versions.

you could also put the skull ring logo on it too, like i did on my weapons case.

Mike doesn't make the Coridite Crystals, someone else does.

Was never a fan of this sword case but I gotta say, that's a damn good job, Mike! The tolerance on the sword space looks fantastic!

DANG IT that is cool! And I think you should for sure make one that holds the 200X Sword, and then maybe even then change the one you've already made to have the iron cross on the case--if you did that I'd HAVE to buy one for sure!

. Of course I have thought about all your ideas as well. I have even treid to find a possibilty to make changeable emblems with plugs or different inlays for the swords, but that was not possible because the walls would have gotten to thin to produce it. So I chose the the 200X sign instead of the iron cross because that case exists from the time of King Grayskull and it's his emblem. The normal powersword I chose because for me it is classics canon that this is the real powersword, not the tech sword.

But we will see, if this case will find enough buyers I can make a second approach for a 200X Sword case
