He-Man will quite possibly be in the $250.00 to $300.00 category, when compared to similar licensed characters, i.e. Lion-O, Mumm-ra, etc..

I completely agree with both these sentiments. The paint applications can make or break a great sculpt, and as mentioned, the translation from a "simple" animation cel to a three-dimensional statue needs to have a spot-on paint job to make it work.

Also, He-Man's face has always been an area of contention when it comes to the third dimension. I hope that PCS can pull off the translation well. He-Man's portrait is arguably the most important part of this statue.

The Filmation characters are deceptively simple in design, yet incredibly difficult in execution.... we will all just have to keep an eye on the progression of these statues.

While definitely not vintage or Filmation inspired, that Skeletor bust kicks ass.

What is a 1/4 MOTU Statue? Is this an IconHeroes statue or is it something MOTUC related?

Hopefully it will turn-out as good as the sketch!
    Very Filmation-esque...

Now if we could get at least ONE of the many "concepts" produce, it would be awesome...

When you say next, does that mean that there are previous ones? I haven't been following news all that frequently lately and I feel like I'm missing something.

it's funny. Yeah, cool, I dont care.

Statues are beautiful, and I am so very glad they are making so much MOTU stuff. But statues are prohibatively expensive and I have no place for them in my collection. Even the 200x Stactions.

    But glad they exist.

Statues are cool, but I won't spend a load of money for an unarticulated item.

Here is a tease of the approved design for a Beast Man statue.

I didn't know the bust would be life size! Wow, might have to get it now. And the Beast Man looks very promising! Excited to see more on that statue.

The bust looks phenomenal. It will be ridiculously expensive, though.

After the masterpiece that was the Deluxe Skeletor Statue, the NECA bust fell extremely short of the mark.

Hopefully this PCS piece will make up for it!

These are statues in a 1:4 scale being produced by Pop Culture Shock Collectibles. They are extremely detailed and often-times include real fabric costumes and metal weapons. They are generally very expensive (depending on your spending habits...) running around the $250.00 to $400.00 range. They are not associated with MOTUC.

So far He-Man is the only character being produced, and he has not been given a solid release date yet. Look a couple of pages back in this thread for an idea of how he is going to appear. Remember, these are HUGE statues at 1:4 scale that equals a massive 18 inches plus base!

SWEET!!!! Beast Man is looking GOOD! I love the pose they've given him. Now they just need to stick with the Filmation likeness and all will be good!

Links are good, as long as they aren't direct links to items for sale.

so I have never bought any thing like this. Are these something that will go on sale or do they stay at that price permanently? They also showed off an evil Lynn but that beastman looks the best so far.
