Alien: Isolation (the Alien game we have all been waiting for?)

Just saw this on IGN and I was blown away by it. I just love the idea of the game and the way it is being presented. No weapons and only 1 Xenomorph, a true survival horror like the original movie that started it all...could we have finally found a good Alien game?

I thought there was already a thread for this, and I know I've talked about this game with several of my gaming friends, but I'm not sold on this for several reasons. 1st: It's a game play walk-through trailer, and we saw that with Aliens: Colonial Marines. How about this one?
    Or these two?

And despite that game's flaws, I still enjoyed it immensely. I still love playing it on multiplayer.

2nd: Amanda Ripley. Complete baloney and just a convenient name drop. In all honesty could have been done with anyone, but the probability of the next person involved with xenomorphs being the daughter of the last person is completely ludicrous. The story had better be phenomenal. Why would the Company say anything to the daughter? In fact, they had already been in contact with the Nostromo and knew it had the thing on board, they could have sent a ship immediately. Amanda was seven years old when Ripley disappeared, so...what? W-Y just sat around and waited for her to grow up to say, "Hey, we know where your momma is, want to come find her?" Give me a break.

Well I looked but couldn't find another thread about it. Also I too really enjoyed Colonial Marines and don't think it deserves the hate it gets, but I will admit it had its problems. I just think this game fits the original spirit of the Alien series before Cameron turned it into a gun filled action-fest and the lack of weapons and ease of death reminds me of the first half of Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth which is one of the best survival horrors ever

Speaking of Alien, I was just at Barnes and Nobles bookstore and found a new book set between Alien and Aliens: ALIEN: Out of the Shadows. It's apparently the first of three, but from what I've read of it so far, Ellen Ripley allegedly had been woken up earlier in her 57 year hypersleep, at year 37 of the trip. Guess what she comes across? LOL

I'm going to assume that they'll use some kind of amnesia event to explain why in Aliens she doesn't remember it
