These are a couple of pics of me in one of my rare public appearances in my outfits. Apparently one of the individual's I work with has a son who loves Star Wars. Of course word gets around when you have a Stormtrooper suit and he asked if I would do him the favor of showing up at his birthday party so I did. But I told him that if anyone asks, he doesn't know who I am. The last thing I need is to go to a bunch of these parties surrounded by kids. By the end of the my "unannounced" appearance, these kids were wailing away at me and I couldn't retaliate. Man, the Dark Side in me sure was difficult to control that night...
Here I am with the birthday boy doing my best "Under Imperial Arrest" act. The kid actually had a pretty cool look on his face, too. The parents gave me a framed copy of the above picture to keep which was great.
Here's another pic from that night. I think I look especially dashing here. Must be the uniform.

On a side note, lots of Kentucky folks on here! I've lived in Chicago for a decade, but grew up in Henry County and lived in Lexington for many years. Hey there, y'all's, you make me miss my ol home...
Chicago rocks, ML. I grew up and lived there until I moved to L.A. to embark on my entertainment industry career. After nineteen years in L.A. and ensuing years bumming around all over the world, we now live across the lake from Chicago in a secret little village carved from a forest. For a fun read go on-line and Google 'Olesker No Place Like Home' to buy an out-of-print copy of my first murder mystery novel for a couple of bucks. It'll give you an interesting view of Chicago circa 1970s and an engaging mystery story in the bargain. MGM (Sherry Lansing and Bill Castle) bought the film rights waaaaaaay back in 1976, launching my life in film, TV and publishing.
