    1. Most Impressive Heroic Warrior - FISTO - He's the very model of a modern MOTU classic.
    2. Most Impressive Evil Warrior - Bad year for evil warriors. All we got were Spikor and Stinkor. Oh, and a Skelly variant. I don't have him yet, but I'll probably go with STINKOR, botched arms and all.
    3. Most Impressive Female Figure - Only one I have is TOD SORCERESS, and I like her well enough. I don't have the major issues with her shoulders that others do. They work well enough to recreate her signature pose. I understand why others would want her executed differently. Personally, I wished that this was used as an excuse to do a 200X repainted Sorceress instead of this all-white one.
    4. Most Impressive Male Figure - FISTO
    5. Most Impressive Accessory (weapon, armor etc) - Interesting category. So many awesome accessories came out this year! You had Draego's shield, Keldor's swords, Castle Grayskullman's swords, among other awesome stuff. But my favorite of the lot was THE ORB PEDESTAL.
    6. Most Impressive Beast/Giant I guess the Griffin wins by default? But I don't have one... so I don't care.
    7. Most Disappointing Male HORDE PRIME should have come up much more grand than he did. His monotone color scheme washes him into the background. His ancient Hordak face sculpt is incredible, but it disappears under that ridiculously bright red. He can't be posed in any positions other than standing straight up, or standing straight up with elbows bent or else his shoulder pads get tilted out of whack. He is good, but ultimately disappointing. He looks more like an army builder soldier than the grand ruler supreme of the galactic Horde Empire.
    8. Most Disappointing Female - I guess FROSTA since they screwed her up. I don't have her though, so I can't tell how much of a detriment it really is.
    9. Best supporting Media/third party Item (Comics,Game,Statues, funko etc) - THE VIDEOGAME is cute, tons of fun, and really celebrates the source material. Wish it was on a real gaming platform, though.
    10. Most Anticipated of the revealed 2013 line. - I'm on team JITSU. Awesome head sculpt, awesome hand sculpt, cool weapon and armor design...Hell of an update. Rammy is awesome too, and I am really looking forward to the Foe Men, but Jitsu is damn near perfect.
    11. Biggest Disappointment of 2012 - SIR LASER-LOT could have symbolized so much. Instead he symbolizes blue.
    12. Most underrated figure of 2012 - SNAKE MAN-AT-ARMS - This is a very situational choice. I really loved 200X MAA's techno armor. The blue on the little oxygen tank dealie really brought a lot of detail to the armor. The snake head went in the spare parts box and this version became my true MAA.
    13. Best Figure of 2012 - Sticking with FISTO. Everything I said about Fisto, plus that awesome belt and very unique sword. I understand those who don't like it, but it's unlike anything else in the line and for that reason, it works. I don't know how they could have pulled it off without serious compromises, but it would have been nice if the big fist could have held the sword. I really don't care about the sheath on his back. I don't care that it makes an ugly hole in his armor; how much time do you spend looking at a figure's back?

Nice thread! I decided to not duplicate any choices, for what its worth...

    1. Most Impressive Heroic Warrior FISTO (perfect blend of new/old with no 'design choice' debacles)
    2. Most Impressive Evil Warrior STINKOR (despite forearm MISTAKE not choice he came out terrific)
    3. Most Impressive Female Figure SHADOW WEAVER (been waiting 30 years and wasn't disappointed, good sub-only choice)
    4. Most Impressive Male Figure KOBRA KHAN (simple, not overdone, amazing second head, just well executed)
    5. Most Impressive Accessory (weapon, armor etc) MEKANECK'S NECKS (who needs action features?)
    6. Most Impressive Beast/Giant PROCRUSTUS (unexpected choice, adds stone giant to MOTU shelves)
    7. Most Disappointing Male SPECTOR (total garbage)
    8. Most Disappointing Female (none for me, I send all my PoP to a fellow Orger, though I did not like Sorceress' drums)
    9. Best supporting Media/third party Item (Comics,Game,Statues, funko etc) (can't wait for those small vinyl figures)
    10. Most Anticipated of the revealed 2013 line RAM MAN
    11. Biggest Disappointment of 2012 THE 30TH SUB (2 good figures and lots of garbage, only sub i regret)
    12. Most underrated figure of 2012 FEARLESS PHOTOG (as much a part of vintage MOTU as He-Ro and long overdue, much more fun and original than making Grayskull into a figure and giving him blonde surfer hair for no reason - for me, one of the worst design decisions in the entire line)
    13. Best Figure of 2012 MOSQUITOR (don't have mine yet but love the pics and all the new parts! gives us hope we'll get Rio Blast, Extendar, Blast Attack, etc)
ANGELLA! Blast Attak Buzzsaw Hordak Dragstor ELDOR! ENTRAPTA! FLUTTERINA! Flying Fists He-Man GWILDOR!
Lazer Light He-Man Lazer Light Skeletor MERMISTA! MULTI-BOT! NINJOR! Peekablue Perfuma RIO BLAST! Rotar
Saurod SPINNERELLA! Sssqueeze SWEET BEE! Terror Claws Skeletor TUNG LASHOR! Twistoid

I chose not to either, plenty of figures that deserved their own spots in 2012....

But Fisto does have design debacles....the huge ass portal to another universe on his armor (a holder that was chosen instead of for the sword that most collectors would actually display him with, the Vintage one), his choice of painted ab section and non painted upper body. He is not short of his own issues, and I know for fact it's not just me.

Not knocking your decision to choose Fisto as whatever you chose to, because to you he may be fine....but just a general comment to everyone who knocks Frosta, there are a lot of figures in this line that are worse shape or suffer from more flaws than her. Goddess, Snout Spout, Stinkor with "Intentionally" reversed forearms....brand new forearms mind you....Swiftwind who apparently left the factory with as many swapped legs as had correct ones. Every one of the Black Plastic painted figures from Spikor to Castle Grayskullman....yet let's all go #1 on Frosta, you know **** on her.
    Recent....Flutterina, NA Skeletor
    Coming....Rio Blast (sold already)
Wanted....Entrapa, Light Hope, (A real) Filmation Hordak & Clawful
    Considering....
    Needed....Dragstor

Oh man, did I forget to use these [sarcasm][/sarcasm] again? Sorry....

Huh? What are you talking about??? We also got Horde Prime, Draego Man, Kobra Kahn, Rattlor, Mosquitor, Shadow Weaver, Cy-Chop, Slush Head, Snake Man-at-Arms, Snake Men army builder, and the Griffin. What were you thinking?

He means that "evil warrior" designates one of Skeletor's Henchmen, as opposed to the Snakemen, the Horde, the Space Mutants, etc ...

    1. Most Impressive Heroic Warrior Fisto
    2. Most Impressive Evil Warrior Draego Man
    3. Most Impressive Female Figure Shadow Weaver
    4. Most Impressive Male Figure Draego Man (Although this was extremely close between him and Fisto, but I am just amazed at how great DM looks, especially with the flaming whip and shield!)
    5. Most Impressive Accessory (weapon, armor etc) Drae Man Flaming Whip
    6. Most Impressive Beast/Giant Griffin
    7. Most Disappointing Male Mighty Spector
    8. Most Disappointing Female Jewelstar (Despite a couple of neat bits with her jewels, the majority of her body is INCREDIBLY bland)
    9. Best supporting Media/third party Item (Comics,Game,Statues, funko etc) iOS Game
    10. Most Anticipated of the revealed 2013 line. Octavia (I can't believe I went with that over Snake Face and Jitsu, two characters I really love, but I just want to see more females in the line! I'm dying for a Scorpia)
    11. Biggest Disappointment of 2012 Mighty Spector (I can't say the whole 30th line, as there are a few I like, but this figure is HORRIBLE every time I look at it. No creativity and just doesn't look like it belongs at all. I detest the Deadpool mask...)
    12. Most underrated figure of 2012 Stinkor (Love that smell!)
    13. Best Figure of 2012 Fisto (While I love the look of Draego Man more, Fisto did SO many thingsperfectly, doing right by both classic and 200X fans alike, that I can't help but give this to him)

This was a tough poll, because there are several characters I really wanted to acknowledge, like Rattlor, Mosquitor, Snakemen, Castle Grayskullman, and Horde Prime as being really great figures from top to bottom)

Right, but I guess Draego does qualify as an "evil warrior", doesn't he? Draego's a good guy, a bad guy, a dragon, a magical construct, all kinds of layers to him.

Evil Warriors actually historically designates the Skeletor faction only....not all MOTU bad dudes (hence Snake Men, Horde)....although in general yes they are all "Evil Warriors" so actually which the OP meant....I don't know, likely the in general subject yes, but considering the MOTU factions....it can be confused.

According to his bio, yes....he joined Skeletor's minions, so technically he is an official "Evil Warrior"

I personally thought it was a weak year for the vintage heroic warriors.. Fisto,Mekaneck and TP He-man. Plus 4 new heroic warriors from 30th anniversary lineup.
