What did you get for Christmas?

Merry Christmas one and all! What did you all get for Christmas? It was Adventure Time/Regular Show themed Christmas. This is all I got:

    From my neighbor:
    $25

    From my godfather:
    $100

    From my older brother:
    $25 visa giftcard

    From my little sister:
    Gomer Pyle season 3

    From my parents
    -Candy
-Tik-Tok of Oz by L. Frank Baum
    -2 pairs of jeans
    -Adventure Time t-shirt
-Regular Show action figure set (gonna keep this one in the box)
    -Season 1 of Adventure Time
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 (the only Harry Potter movie I was missing)
-socks (alot of people would complain about this, but I actually needed socks because I tend to get holes in mine)
-Mordecai and Rigby plush dolls (I got two plushes instead of one)
-chocolate fountain set (I got a hint that I got something brown and I was afraid it was clothes because I wouldn't wear brown. But it turned out awesome.)

    Legos!

Whoa buddy WHOA PUT THAT FIRE OUT IT'S HUGE MAN

Can you tell I like Space legos?

Can you believe I've never owned Jurassic Park? Also: A third volume of a Sherlock collection that they stopped making (what? I wanted to finish it!). Then there's the beard trimmer! I've been using scissors this whole time! *Sigh* Good bye hobo styles...

Did you know? Playmobile are the best toys ever! It's terrible! They have everything you can imagine, and they're always sturdy, fun, and awesome (and you put 'em together yourself!). I've got no reason not to buy all the Playmobile other than the fact that I am also buying other toys...so they make perfect gifts! This year it was DINOSAURS, YO.

Hey, they made toys of the Skylanders toys! But these ones aren't for video games; they're for your handses. I love you, Mega Bloks.

Vidya games! Kirby is almost pointless 'cause I have most of those games, but it'll be nice to have 'em all in one place and an excuse to beat them all over again. It also came with a soundtrack, but sadly I have most of that music as well (with longer loops). Doesn't matter! I'm a Kirby fan and it's a real nice presentation and it'll be cool to play the gameboy games on the big screen without getting out the SNES and the Super Gameboy.

Otherwise, I got me some more Scribblenauts, that Mickey game that is all side-scroller, and ADVENTURE TIME. *cough* Yeah I beat it already *cough*. "Hey Ice King!" was a really fun game, but BOY is it short! They put a lot of work into it besides the gameplay, which is super easy - but at least it's fun! Music is friggin' brilliant as well. Hopefully they learn from this and make more games with increasing quality, 'cause other than the shortness and ease it is one of the best games made from a cartoon that i've ever played. I mean it was like watching another episode!

Anyway, other than that stuff: I got a PS network card for 20, CANDYCANDYCANDY, some more movies (Spaceballs and Dark Knight - yeah I didn't have those either), an old gameboy game (Gradius: Interstellar Assault), and possibly more (gotta see more family that I didn't see on the holiday itself).

That's cool, Scooter. But what's even cooler is that I just realized...

Sorry, Ice Cream Phil. Any gift in that price range goes to immediate family or beautiful dames. And since you aren't either (or highly improbable in the latter case), I'm afraid I can't give you MP Soundwave.

    How about a free record?

My new mom (mother-in-law) bought them for me for Christmas because she knew it would be a great way for me to feel closer to my mom (who died in 2006) since we always used to watch them together when I was younger. I really wanted to watch all of these episodes from start to finish.

You should be able to return them. Places that I've returned movies to just have you get the exact same item. You might wanna check online and see if any others are having problems. When I bought the complete Stargate SG-1 series, a couple episodes were fine except when one character spoke...no sound period. I returned it & the same. Several others had posted about issues with sound layering. My last resort? Buy season 1, swap discs, return to it to the store & traded the good replacement season to my comic shop. Hope you find someway around it, especially with it having sentimental value.

I tried 2 dvd players (that never played them), my desktop computer (that never played them), and then my laptop (that played them 25% of the time). So, I went out and bought a NEW $25 dvd player and they now all play PERFECTLY!! YAY!!!
