    Rank Man-At-Arms' Importance

Next up is the current Man-At-Arms, Duncan!

This is a multiple choice poll with 2 categories to vote in. The first category is whether or not you would buy a variant of this character. The second category is the overall importance you feel this character brings to the franchise.

    Variant worthy?

Variant Worthy: This is a character that you believe is variant worthy. You're willing to purchase different variants of this character even if your favorite version is the first one released. Matty can certainly put them in MOTUC's quarterly variant slot for you.

Not Variant Worthy: You don't feel this character needs any variants whatsoever. You only hope that when they make this character that they get them right the first time around. You do not want to be taken for the ass.

    Importance

A-List: Integral to the story and the franchise. MOTU isn't MOTU without them. This is a core character that is extremely important to you. If Mattel doesn't make them, someone will have some serious explaining to do!

B-List: They might not be integral to the story in your eyes but this is an excellent supportive character that helps to round out the story, franchise and your collection.

C-List: You feel this is a good guest star type of character. You don't expect to see them hanging around the supportive crew all the time but you still want to see them show up to lend a helping hand now and then.

D-List: Fills the role of background character and cameo maker for you. You acknowledge their existence but in a very limited way. This is an "okay" character.

Z-List: You'd rather forget about this character entirely. Should they never be mentioned again in MOTU-lore, you would be quite happy. This character would kill teh lien for you.
Proud supporter of the Snake Men.

Most Wanted: Slave Girl, Eldor, Spinnerella, Mermista, Peekablue, Crita, Lizorr, Tyrantisaurus Rex, Battle Ram, Great Black Wizard.
Most Wanted for Filmation Sub: Madame Razz with Broom, Lord Masque, Ileena, Granita, General Sunder.

No Slave Girl? Watch us hurl!

A barbaric world without slave girls? That's truly barbaric!

He is absolutely variant worthy. We're already getting a partial 200x tribute with his Snake version and I could always use a straight up filmation version.

MAA is a triple A character, can't do without him.

So we can just do without him like he walked out of a Maury Povich taping after a paternity test? Teela needs a father figure! Adam needs discipline!! Eternia needs the 'stache!!!

He's obviously an A-lister and one of the main protagonists in MOTU.

I actually like the idea of Snake Man-At-Arms, just wish they had used more of his 200x He-Man vs Snakemen look with more Green and grey.

Wouldn't mind seeing another variant down the line too.. like perhaps an scuba gear like we saw in the 2002 show.

Not really caring for the Snake treatment he's getting in his variant. The only other Variant I would want or can think of for him would be a Filimation version which would use a Palace Guard buck, with He-Man left arm (so the armor stays on right) and right arm armor, NO leg armor, the Palace Guard / Skeletor shins are his boots, MAA Mustached head... and to be painted correctly....some variants have gotten less and have been released.

Evil-Lyn got a new cape, an extra new head, new forearms and Catra hand, but reused the same Teela buck as before....If you want something new for FMAA, then maybe they sculpt new arm armor to be tighter and less bulky.

I already have my custom FMAA that I made, and to be honest had they released one like it, I would have easily passed on the vintage look....Although the vintage figure had brownish red boots and loin cloth.
    Recent....Flogg
    Coming....
Wanted....Entrapa, Light Hope, (A real) Filmation Hordak & Clawful
    Considering....
    Needed....Dragstor

Oh man, did I forget to use these [sarcasm][/sarcasm] again? Sorry....

Dude, Man-At-Arms is A-List, variant worthy, and a very recognizable character to even the most casual of MOTU people.

Snake Man-At-Arms still blows though. I think I'd almost rather have a Samurai Man-At-Arms for the lolz...

A list, absolutely-and yes to variants! Give me Snake (I'm actually thrilled we're getting that one), Snake Armor, Underwater Armor, Stealth Armor (just made that up, but imagine him in black!)...
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

I really dont know that I think he desereves an actually variant. I know I wanted classic figure and "filmation" Duncan. All I need for filmation duncan is a royal guard buck with shoulder armours with a matching coloured man at arms chest armour. His MOTUC release doesnt match the guards armour. I'm hoping that the Snake Man at arms armour matches the orange of royal guardsman for this purpose.

But a true 200x version, or anything else... nah. But I agree that his having one isnt bad, just not something I would vote for.

    He's obviously an "A" character.

A-list for sure, right after the stars He-Man and Skeletor. Not the best for variants, but since it's been a long time since he was offered, I think he's high due for one. Maybe a re-tool of his body, and a ton of weapons and a alternate snake head to pay homage to something (even if it's something I never cared all that much for)

MAA comes right after He-Man. For me he doesn`t need any variants. The regular MOTUC version (without moustache) is great just as it is.
