Woo! Hope this is better than the two origin comics they released already. They sucked! I will get this though. The art on the page looked pretty awesome!

Oh cool! I hope they don't use the name Hek-tor-Kur on this comic.
Hordak deserves a good origin story. Lets hope for the best.

I haven't liked any of the origin stories from DC so far. Lets hope this one is different.

I believe so and the next arc will be the introduction of She-Ra. I guess/hope Hordak will be in a physical form by then.

    Great ,I can't wait.
I am very satisfied with the origins until now. in my opinion the Skeletor issue is one of the best comics ever published on motu and the He-Man issue is very good especially for the simplicity.

Intrigued! I hope it's "inspired" by the New Gods and Kirby and not too much of a carbon copy.

Glad to see that they're continuing with the Origins comics. We all know the Sorceress will come sooner or later, and probably She-Ra. Although, I have a feeling her origin will be told in the ongoing series.

    Different continuity.

In Classics' canon, we know how Hordak died. In the new DC Comics' canon, we don't know how he ultimately winds up.

I really hope this is better the the Skeletor and He-Man ones. Origin stories are usually my favourite but I think the two issues we've had so far have been the worst out of the new DC comics. I also hope they don't use the art style that was used in the first two issues as I didn’t care for that style, I preferred the art style of the mini-series.

I'm into it.....BUT I'm sure it will suck (unfortunately) just like all the others. I will keep an open mind but with what we were delt with already it's pretty bleak.

I'm curious, but have low expectations....

I thought the Origin of Skeletor was probably the best DC MOTU book so far.
I thought the Origin of He-Man was among the worst DC MOTU books yet.
I like Keith Giffen in general.
I haven't liked Keith Giffen on MOTU.

I don't care for Giffen's writing nor for his art.

I love Giffen's artwork, and really wish that he was doing more than just this cover. I'm not at all familiar with the interior artist. As far as writing goes, I like it, but I think they are trying too hard to make it "current" and are actually losing some of what made MOTU the awesome story that has lasted for 30 years. The writing in the other origin stories has been good, but I haven't enjoyed the painted-style artwork.

Looks cool! We havent had a Hordak origin yet have we? Looking forward to this!

BTW....does anyone know if the 6-issue mini series that just ended will coincide with the new ongoing begining in April?? Is it kind of a prequel to the new series??

Kiffen is doing the interior artwork. Scott Koblish is his inker.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I am totally happy with the bits and piece we have of him right now and don't think everything or one needs to be fully explained!!!

And considering where these DC Comics have taken these characters and I do understand this is yet another alternate version of MOTU, I don;t want to know Hordak's Origin, I'm happy with him as is!

Well, let's not be dramatic or anything... You do know, you don't have to read it, right? I mean it *is* an option to not buy the comic, after all.

As for me, I'm actually kind of excited about this. I want to see where the story goes. It's not my favorite art style but I am intrigued by him being a demigod and finding out what happened to all the gods on his planet. Also I'd like to see the reasons they give for Hordak not conquering Eternia if he finds the planet to be so insignificant.
