MAA 8 Back - AFA?

So I won an 8 Back MAA on Saturday with a crystal clear bubble, but the back is a little discolored (it is the w/warranty version). I posted the link below of the item, but am trying to determine if I send it out to AFA will it have a chance at an overall 80? I have never sent one out with a back like this so not sure if others have and what they got back. I know it is not an 85 because of the corners rounding some.

I've got a Moss Man similar, and been putting off sending him for AFA. Rounding with staining and potential price tag mark, my guess is 75. The rest of the card is great! Good luck, keep us posted!

In my opinion, you'd be lucky to get an AFA 70 or 75 on that particular piece.

If you're hoping for an AFA 80, I wouldn't submit it.

I agree , this cardback would only receive an overall grade of AFA 75 at best.... I am guessing C70 - 75 MAX.... B80 F85 Overall AFA 75MAX.... I am sorry to say but this does not deserve to get an overall grade of 80???? I have sent in cardback straight from case fresh vintage boxes and they received overall 80s and they looked dead mint....

It looks like (in my opinion) there is evidence of the bubble being re-glued. If there is even one spot of glue, AFA will reject it and still charge you the fees. Again, just my opinion by looking at the pictures using the zoom on the auction page.

Going to most likely send it in for grading and if they reject it because of the glue will make a claim on Ebay. Thanks everyone for your help and will keep everyone updated.

In my opinion there is not a resealed.
The glue tou can see on the closer pics is just dry glue.
That can happens sometimes

It's just very suspicious that someone would turn that piece into a goodwill store. Plus, the back looks too weathered in comparison to the crystal clear blister. I'm not trying to hate, I hope it's real cause $300 is a lot of money, I'm just very skeptical of what humans are capable of doing.

The goodwill sold a Battle for Eternia 3 pack http://www.he-man.org/collecting/toy.php?id=562 a year or so ago. I know that is a super rare piece. Some people just don't know what they have and want to clear out the garage! Best of luck at AFA!

I actually picked up my Skeletor/Panthor gift set at a goodwill in Danbury CT years ago for $20...they raised the price at the counter on me as it was marked for $5 since the guy said this is "Really old and was marked wrong", either way was a steal. Got it graded at a AFA 75 so was worth the trip. You never know what you find.
