I was just at Ollie's and they have TONS of the Matty 12" Lex Luthor and 12" General Zod. Sadly, they already sold out of the 12" Superman figures. They were marked $29.99, but were on sale for 40% Off making them only $17.99!

Wish they would get some MOTU Classics in stock.

I believe he just shot the picture (to show it on the shelves, for fun) and then took it back. He didn't leave it there.

Nope he left it there with a $10 price tag. Someone actually bought it and posted it on his facebook fan page. He was a fan. Worked out great.

Roboto is sold out at the Walmart on 6250 Valley Springs Parkway Riverside, California. Just Gygor is left. Also, none of the Walmarts in a 100 mile radius carry any MOTUC stuff just that one.

Just to throw my 2 cents in, I don't fault matty for selling these figures at the one Walmart. They did not break any promises of going to retail. It was at one small walmart store close by the outlet. Also almost every single Roboto is cracking and defective so it would not be good to keep selling a defective product on matty to collectors. Better to give a steep discount to walmart and get him out of the warehouse and let them deal with returns. I have no problem with Gygor and personally like him, but i don't think he was a big seller!

And just to agree with other posters, the quantities are probably so small that it would not be worth offering up on the website without a 1 second sell out. Also warehouse space costs money, so a quick sellout is always in a companies best interest!

This is true, but how about back in the 80's when the figures were only shipped one figure in a case. If one figure sells out they order another case. They should return to that model

They could have placed as many subs as they wanted. Heck I could place multiple orders to get 100 subs if I wanted. They prob got stuck with a bunch of unwanted stuff. It is odd that wal-mart would buy product from small merchants like that.
