I was just at Ollie's and they have TONS of the Matty 12" Lex Luthor and 12" General Zod. Sadly, they already sold out of the 12" Superman figures. They were marked $29.99, but were on sale for 40% Off making them only $17.99! Wish they would get some MOTU Classics in stock.

    lmao, that's brillant.

I wish i could be there to watch them do a price check.

lol maybe we should all take our free frosta gifts and leave them randomly at Toy R US, Walmarts and Targets with a little note written on the back "Bring back HE-MAN!"

I would love if they just were honest online retailers and just LEFT EVERY FIGURE UP ON THEIR SITE UNTIL IT'S LEGITIMATELY GONE.

I believe he just shot the picture (to show it on the shelves, for fun) and then took it back. He didn't leave it there.

Nope he left it there with a $10 price tag. Someone actually bought it and posted it on his facebook fan page. He was a fan. Worked out great.

Megalodon, you might want to settle down.

Roboto is sold out at the Walmart on 6250 Valley Springs Parkway Riverside, California. Just Gygor is left. Also, none of the Walmarts in a 100 mile radius carry any MOTUC stuff just that one.

I'm not going to revisit what people have said here but being in the UK i'd love to get my hands on a Roboto. Kept hoping they'd feature on Mad Matty/Cyber Monday etc.

Hey everyone - please treat each other with respect and enough with the back and forth. I've just expunged quite a few posts because it was going nowhere fast. So let's carry on with the topic at hand...

Just to throw my 2 cents in, I don't fault matty for selling these figures at the one Walmart. They did not break any promises of going to retail. It was at one small walmart store close by the outlet. Also almost every single Roboto is cracking and defective so it would not be good to keep selling a defective product on matty to collectors. Better to give a steep discount to walmart and get him out of the warehouse and let them deal with returns. I have no problem with Gygor and personally like him, but i don't think he was a big seller!

And just to agree with other posters, the quantities are probably so small that it would not be worth offering up on the website without a 1 second sell out. Also warehouse space costs money, so a quick sellout is always in a companies best interest!

Really? And here I was just thinking about how we've reached the tenth anniversary of the whole Smash Blade/Spin Blade debacle. You might be the only one on these boards who misses sifting through those figures.

If nine hundred He-Man.Org members get eaten by Thundercats fans, but neither of them has a toyline, does it still count as a fan movement?

This is true, but how about back in the 80's when the figures were only shipped one figure in a case. If one figure sells out they order another case. They should return to that model

So it is safe to say no other Walmart will have these? I'm going tonight for some stuff. I'm way out in NY, so I doubt I will see anything.

There are no plans for MOTUC to be distributed at retail at this time. Maybe the toy aisle manager is a big MOTU fan. Not really sure, but this is not a Mattel program. That i can confirm.

They could have placed as many subs as they wanted. Heck I could place multiple orders to get 100 subs if I wanted. They prob got stuck with a bunch of unwanted stuff. It is odd that wal-mart would buy product from small merchants like that.
I want NA Skeletor and Rio Blast and I want them now!

They're located in MN, doesn't make sense. Who do we know located in CA, Matty and DR, sounds like more 'truths' from TG/matty about this line.

Makes no sense but ok. What secondary retailer would be willing to take that big of a loss on these anyway as you know there is no way Walmart would.
