Jean Gomez http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/jean%20gomez is my favourite cosplayer, probably for obvious reasons. but I dressed up for halloween for the first time in over 20 years and I had a blast. so much so that I'm considering dressing up for the next con I go to. Problem is I never have the physique I want for He-Man or the talent to build the costume I want. once again I'm working on the physique. we will see. if I do well in the gym, I may dress as Black Dynamite. I'm a little light skinned but I can make it work.

    Man, I hate dressing up!

Just a full body black body suit.

    And maybe some spikes.

Then some skulls. Plenty of skulls.

    Perhaps some chains.

A mask would be good, too.

And some blades. Throw a few in there as well

Yeah, I really hate dressing up.

I usually dress as Superman or the Kon-El Superboy. But recently I've added the new 52 pre-suit Superman. If I can ever find the shirt and pants; I plan on dressing as Capt. Hammer.

My wife and I started doing couples' cosplay at the 2011 NYCC, and we really had a blast. Because I am a larger bald guy, my options are somewhat limited, but I've found what works. In '11 we were S:TAS Lex Luthor & Mercy Graves; last year we were Calendar Man (Arkham City) and Calendar Girl.

You get to meet a lot of people, and I find it makes the whole 'con-going experience a lot more fun. Plus, I love seeing some of the inventive stuff people come up with.

I went to NYCC 2012 too. What days were you there? I think I saw a Calender Man and Calender Woman there.

That's funny cuz a friend of mine just told me about her yesterday, and yeah, she is awesomesauce. Yeah, the popularity cosplay has gained with women in recent years makes it a truly exciting time to be a comic-fan!!!!!!!

I have never dressed up. Not even as a kid since I never went trick-or-treating. I have always wanted to, but don't ever go anywhere that would fit me dressing up.

The closest I get to dressing up is that I'll wear my He-man, Legend of Zelda, and othercomic/video game t-shirts anywhere and everywhere.

Also I am admittedly a big fan of Chun-li cosplayers. Except that time Benny tried. I kept telling him the leggings weren't supposed to be shear, but he just wouldn't listen until the security made us leave the Chuck-e-cheese.

I don't dress up myself, I do not have the skills or time to put together a costume.

    However, I love seeing cosplayers.

That's the last time I'll ever try anything for you! And I didn't even get paid like you promised. Just you crying on the corner of the bed.

indeed! I love that women have gotten so into it, not just for the eye candy factor but it's more fun imo.

    As far as favorites,
    Yaya Han
    Riddle1 (Riki Lecotey)
    Giorgia Vecchini
Alisa Kiss (she does have a tease site so be careful when looking for her stuff)

I have recently also started checking out Linda Le

I have always liked the ladies who do cosplay, men for that matter also but for some reason in most media females tend to have the better designed costumes.
