Your fave recent / current toons

So we all know there is quite a few 80's loving, rose glasses wearing, people in here who hate anything outside the 80s

so for those of us who are not those people...what toons of the last 10 years (give or take a year) do you enjoy? (cartoons that started more then 10 years ago but are still being made now or just recently ended are also acceptable)

to start off here is my top 15

    1. Regular Show
    2. Naruto / Naruto Shippuden
    3. The Amazing World of Gumball
    4. Young Justice
    5. Spongebob Squarepants

    Powerpuff Girls
    Ed, Edd, n Eddy

The Avengers is the only one I make sure I see. That being said my kids have me watching Regular Show and Adventure Time. Been meaning to start watching Young Justice.

    Seems like I'm forgetting one...

I take it the list includes anime?

    If so:

    Currently Airing:

    One Piece
    Young Justice

    Done:

    Samurai Jack
    Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex
    Brave and the Bold
    Justice League/JLU
    Transformers Animated

And that is probably it. Well, at least that I am going to list. I could still list about 18 more anime series if I really wanted to.

I didn't put Simpsons on there because it stopped being good after Season 9.

BTW, I think the toons of the 90s trump everything from the 80s.

Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.

Looks like I'll be relisting some of these, but I can only speak from the heart. I'ma just list 'em as I think of them, so it'll probably go from newest to oldest...sorta:

    - Adventure Time
    - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
    - Gravity Falls
    - Amazing World of Gumball
    - Regular Show
    - Misadventures of Flapjack
    - Chowder
    - Avatar: The Last Airbender
    - Futurama
    - Transformers: Animated
    - Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heros
    - Spectacular Spider-Man
    - Invader Zim
    - Thundercats (new one, obviously)
    - Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
    - Samurai Jack

Uhhhh...I think that covers a lot. I'm not sure if I'm cutting back to far with some? There are others I like that were 90's rather than eighties, but I think you've got a good last-ten-years thing going, because there has been A LOT of golden material in that span of time. Great, great cartoons being made nowadays.

relisting is fine as the thread is about your personal list, not about naming the toons of the last 10 years

Spongebob. Love that it has adult and child humor.
Fairly Odd Parents. Sheer genius, and I don't use the word 'genius' often.
Avatar: The Last Airbender -- for its intricate storyline and highly developed characters.
    Catdog. Yeah, it's a one-joke story. But it's a heckuva joke!
Phineas and Ferb. No need for an explanation.
    Fish Hooks. Very clever.

I like Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents too.

URGH! How did I forget that one? Big 'ol list and didn't even think of that...I can't imagine how, considering I keep checking for new episodes every time I turn on Netflix.

The only ones I've been watching are:
    TMNT
    Clone Wars
    Green Lantern
    Young Justice
    Transformers Prime
and when it returns, The Legend of Korra.

I really enjoyed Avengers: EMH, and will be watching the new one when it starts up later this year - and will be watching Beware the Batman, as well.

    Does 200X count??

I find it hard to watch animation that's been made in the last few years.

I'm also just beginning to watch the 2003 TMNT cartoon. For the first time...

I love how the orgers are listing all these heavy action/adventure, superheroes picks and mine are like Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents and Fish Hooks. Do we see a pattern here? How about "He's been duct-tapred to his sofa by three little ones for the last thirteen years and force-fed what they want to watch"?!

That being said, I need to add Phineas and Ferb, Amazing World of Gumball, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates to the list....
