No thanks. I stopped buying the issues at number 3 because they were awful and read my friend's copies of 4 and 5 and the series just keeps getting worse.
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.

You are not alone. I specifically want Despera and this cover's version of Teela (which I know is pretty close to her Battleground Teela look, but this one is far more bad-ass and it would be great to get this face & hair sculpt for Teela!)
Also, I would love to start seeing MOTU incorporated into Cartoon Network's DC block as little mini-sodes

Hair color is not that important to me but man they really did make Teela well endowed . That's the only way to draw comic gals IMO. I am beyond excited to get this book every month. Like most media it will have highs and lows but just having new media is exciting.

I'm surprised he didn't twist her waist all the way around so he could do a full butt shot too...

They had to. It's how her mom looks in the comic.

Woo-hoo! I'm SO glad we're seeing more of MOTU, Despera and SHE-RA! Also, I'm glad to see Teela is a red head again. Too many blondes are running around.

How exciting! I'm thrilled we're getting more Despara/She-Ra goodness.

I seriously hope this eventually spins off into She-Ra getting her very own comic series, with Drew Johnson contributing to some of them.

Judging by that article, I wonder if they're going to be mixing elements of the bios and the proposed MYP series into this.

Great news. Not sure I'm going to like the direction these comic are in. Looking at the cover art. I'm not pleased. Hordak is a woman? And with sexy body armor. yuck. with a face like that its wrong. So is betraying any woman in scantily clad armor. Also I see Teela has double D's now. Why? what is wrong with size C's in a comic? I find it annoying & sexiest when its done just to have it.

I have all the digital comics, but now I think I should hunt down the physical books. How difficult are they to find?

I haven't enjoyed the comic so far but foolishly will buy this ongoing for a while to see if it gets better as I hope it will. Teela needs to put some clothes on, she's going to catch cold.

...Yeah, no. I gave up on the miniseries after issue 2, and the mini comics at Trap Jaw (done better by someone else...). Got the Despara one, but couldn't stand Costa's "I have to make this gritty by killing someone" take on this universe AFTER his G.I.Joe work at IDW. MOTU gathered it's HUGE fan base in the 80's by being FUN. Barbarian fun, cartoony fun, sci-fi fun, you name it. I'm in my 30's and I still like fun. This world is not fun to me. For those of you who like it, I hope this series lasts and you get to enjoy it for a long time, but it's just not for me.

This is outstanding news!!! I was going to be VERY sad if the MOTU comic did not get it's own ongoing series. It is no 200X comic with Val at the helm, but it is still MOTU and still alot of fun. Bring on MOTU comics for many years to come (hopefully!!!!)

Totally loving Teela's various outfits for this new DC MOTU comic series. Also glad to see this more adult fan take on MOTU will get to continue with it's life span for a little longer. Now that'll no longer be confined to a mini-series, I'm interested to see what the expanded world for these characters can be.
