Past Imperfect? Really? They are now ripping off fan's work. Future Imperfect is fanfic illustrated by Sha, from He-Man.org. And Adora and Teela knowing each other, it made no sense.
I've heard similar sentiment before and I find it amazing. Most MOTU fans (who have seen redesigns before) would want nothing better than to return to their original looks, yet some POP fans want a new 52 design for She-Ra, since nothing has been done with her since the 80's.
Who knows. Her look is pretty classic and doesn't really need an update, IMO. I think classic She-Ra will look fine in the comics mixed in with He-Man and everyone else.

What the heck, I am just another rebel!
Who is to say the fan work wasn't an idea someone else also had but never wrote? Case in point, I can't prove it but I basically had the general idea and concept of Stargate Universe in my head as a fan invention five years before MGM came up with it. In the entertainment industry today, there is no such thing as an original idea anymore, just original ways to spin an idea someone else has done to death millions of times over already. About the same as trying to claim that someone ripped off a fan art of a certain pose of a copyrighted character that tons of other artists drew long before the fan art version.
Comic nerds have been moaning about 'Once Upon A Time' supposedly ripping off the concept of the 'Fables' comic book and there were nerds who were also moaning years ago saying Tim Kring 'ripped off' the idea of the time travel to the future episodes of 'Heroes' from some X-Men mini-series years prior.
Someone out there is always going to say someone else ripped them off when that someone else just happened to have the same idea and managed to make a profit off of it first.
The concept of Masters of the Universe itself could be called a 'rip off' of certain elements from 'Conan The Barbarian'.
I just enjoy what we can get because there are a lot worse things coming at us from the entertainment industry.

BY THE POWER OF GREYSTONE! I am the power.
Not sure I approve of the Mekaneck shade in issue 2. It's all become a bit self-referential, almost like a parody.
I just received #2 in the mail....I still haven't received number 1 yet??
- - - Updated - - -
I e-mailed them this afternoon, I will let you know what they say...
And - this issue is a bit better than the last one, though still far from up to MVC standards. So it's not THAT bad!
But - how on earth did they contrive to get Issue 2 to you before Issue 1 ?
Truly strange are the ways of DC; no wonder they're in such straits.
I still haven't received any from my sub either, this is getting stupid.
Nothing from my sub either.
