I received my Netossa today as well.

The Great Rebellion is looking a little blue lately.

A spear? Really??...Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to Netossa this month, though I am completely expecting a stained cape.

And heeeeere's Netossa. Warrior... Huntress... Fearless.

I NEVER owned the character as a child, never even saw her in one cartoon. But the figure is awesome. There's something definitely Valkyrie-sque about her, and I've been playing with her all evening, giving her various weapons.

I'm not a fan of the cape, but I'm hoping to make one for her next week.

Mattel should release a Green Goddess spear in an upcoming weapons pack for her.

Wow. The pics you guys are posting are making me look forward to this fig more than the reviews did. She seems a lot cooler once the gimmick is ditched. And definitely one of the best female faces in the line. (No more teeth 4H!)

Most definitely. That spear in pearl white would also be a nice alternative for the TODS.

Full pic of the cape as requested. The black stain isn't very apparent, at least not to me.

    Netossa looks awesome!

It's a shame that she doesn't come with a repainted Green Goddess spear, because a spear definitely works well with the figure.

And it's also a shame that she doesn't have the BP She-Ra style splits on her skirt. I think all future skirted figures should include those splits to enable the full range of articulation.

Frosta needs to use the same liquid Tide detergent as Netossa. Make her whites whiter and her brights brighter.

She looks AMAZING! And even better with the spear. Really nice pics. Can't wait to get her. Frosta pales in comparison.

I lol'd. Love the joyful enthusiasm of collecting toys and those not realising the unintentional un-PC idea of her having a spear... :P

Toyguru updated the answer, he was wrong, the black spot is intentional...

Netossa is beautiful, it's a shame Frosta could not have turned out this great. Looking at the pictures of her next to some of the other females she has by far the prettiest face sculpt. Can't wait to get her btw I think she looks so much better without her cape. I pray Glimmer's face gets as much love as Netossa's.

How is it un-PC? King Randor and Whiplash have spears. Spears are much more effective iweapons than all the swords other figs carry. Are you trying to say He-Man and She-Ra are dumb for not having easier-wielded, longer reaching, poled blades? Because they're blonde?

Sometimes the term "spear chucker" is used to insult people of a certain race. I also think it looks good with her though.

"Spear Chucker"- a term only known by hardcore idiots or the millions who watched the last season of The Walking Dead. Anyway, if anyone thinks a black person in a "sword and sorcery" setting shouldn't have a spear because it's not "PC"-- I'm sorry to inform you, but you are a reverse-racist. I wonder if they ever thought Indiana Jones or Simon Belmont wasn't PC?

MOTUC Netossa wearing the vintage Netossa cape. She is also sporting a new weapon, a triple morningstar. I hope to make a bola for her soon but until then she'll have to make do with the morningstar.

She looks much better with the vintage cape. The new one looks far too rigid and toyish. If/when I get her I'll definitely want to make a more realistic looking net cape.

No. What I did was weave a coated wire (the ones used to hold toys into the package) through the bottom holes of the cape. Making it bendable/possible. Because the cape is a rubbery plastic I don't think the hair dryer method would work.
