Released Figures That Don't Peak Your Interest Enough To Add To Your Collection Are

So I went through each year and made a list of figures I probably will never add to my collection and was wondering if any other collectors out there just refuse to add certain figures to your collection. You can just name the figure or you can also give a reason why their not making the cut. Comments on other people's lists are welcomed ....

2008 and 2009 were great years, I can't omit anyone from that period except for The Goddess but I'm adding her to my collection anyway as she is to intricate a piece In the development of the creation of the story line.

2010 - these guys just didn't cut it for me in the beginning but some might creep their way in over time:
Weapons Pak - not super relative to a MOC collector
Optikk - never really got into NA He-Man so I honestly don't even know who he is
Count Marzo - also don't know who he is so cant speak for his relevance either
SDCC Mo-Larr & Skeletor - Really? Is all I have to say
Chief Carnivus - Don't know this guy either
Gygor - maybe one that might find his way in but maybe not
Weapons Pak #2 - not super relative to a MOC collector

2011 - these guys just didn't cut it for me in the beginning but some might creep their way in over time:
    Bow - not a big She-Ra fan
Shadow Beast - where did he come from?
Leech - will probably sneak in only cause he's part of the vintage line but I never liked this guy
Icarius - another NA reference which means nothing to me
Swift Wind - refer back to Bow
Bubble Power She-Ra - I get why She-Ra makes the cut, but this variant is not so obvious
Demo-Man- didn't make the initial cut but based off his bio, he might find his way in sooner than anyone else

2012 - this was one of those years that kinda sucked meaning it has the most figures I won't get. these guys just didn't cut it for me in the beginning but some might creep their way in over time:
Star Sisters - again with the sh-Ra thing
    Fearless Photog - no clue
Draego-Man - did someone just make this guy up?
    SlushHead - another NA figure
Mighty Spector - not a chance that I'm going to collect TG's idea for a figure from when he was a kid
    Snake Man-At-Arms - might happen
Spikor - another vintage guy I can't stand but probably will find his way in just because of the vintage aspect
    Vykron - nope
    Sir Laser Lot - nope
Snake Men 2 Pack - maybe in a loose collection but not MOC
Frosta - ill pass unless someone can convince me otherwise
Cy-Chop - same vintage reason as the others
Great Unrest Weapons Pak - nope
    Dekker - don't get it
Procrustus - maybe loose but not MOC

2013 - right off the bat I'm skipping Netossa and the rest of the line will be determined in the near future. But I have already acquired my rammy, jitsu, pre-ordered king he-man, mantenna and castle grayskull as well as strobo

Spector was Toyguru's toy design not one of the Horsemen. I didnt get into NA as a kid either but the 4H's work make them interesting.

What about Shadow Weaver? What do you think of her? She is arguably a Princess of Power character.

My short list. I don't collect for MOC, I only want certain characters. Some I will NEVER own.

Photog - Thought this was a ridiculous idea in the 80's, I think it's ridiculous now, lol!

Faker - Never liked this lazy, palette swapped he-man

Battle Armor, Thunder Punch He-Man - I only need one He-Man representation.

Battle Armor Skeletor, Mo-Larr Variant - I only need one Skeletor representation

Hurricane Hordak - I hate Hordak in bright colored gold, lol! Not enough change from normal Hordak. Should have had a Filmation Head extra

Vykron - Ridiculous and cheap looking figure. Like the knockoffs you buy in China Town, lol!

^That's about it. I plan on getting all the others at some point in time.

Ok....my short list of Don't want or need....hehe

Dekker - (Thought was a boring character, didn't like his episode really either)
Snake MAA (Not in My Cannon)
    Spector - (X-men - not He-man)
    Photog - (thought was silly)
Cy-chop - (The worst figure in the entire line - I don't get how people like him at all)
Mo-Larr - (silly though thought about buying one for my dentist friend)
Battle Armor Anyone (w/o the action feature it's pointless)
Hurricane Hordak (didn't like it as a kid either)
    Slushhead (no NA)
    Icarius
    Optikk
    NA He-Man
    Karatti
Vykron (cool head sculpt but everything else sucks IMO)
Vykor (no He-man of the north in my cannon)
    Demo-man (NIMC)
    Geldor (no interest)
Clamp Champ (NIMC - never liked him as a kid either)
    BG Teela (NIMC)
    Procrustus - (no interest really)
    Netossa (not a fan)
Frosta (she was ok but I'm keeping my GR pretty small)
BP She-ra (silly concept and refuse to buy two She-ra's just to get one functional one)
Swift Wind (as my She-ra can't ride him I won't buy him)
Star Sisters (don't like the designs)
Yellow Evil-Lyn (BG is my definitive version though I would really like a Screech eventually)
Faceless One (he's ok but doesn't really fit into my ultimate vision)
    Wundar (no urban legends IMC)

I don't have Tytus, Megator, or Granamyr but that's due to space issues. I'll get them some day. I'm also missing a few I want but I kept the list to just the ones I'll more than likely never buy.

There are only a couple of figures that I don't think I'll ever add to my collection...

SDCC Bronze King Grayskull: I don't need a statue for Castle Grayskull (Castle Grayskullman and the Grayskull Robot have those spots reserved) but even if I did, I could spray paint a Matty version at a fraction of the cost.
SDCC Color-Changing Orko: I get it that he's supposed to be magically "disappearing" but Orko never faded away into a ghost like that.
SDCC He-Ro: I have no interest in the exclusive stamp on his chest since I keep the armor on my regular version.

Geez, you'd think that I have some beef with SDCC, heheh!

    The DCUC vs MOTUC 2-packs.

Since I'm not that big on the DCverse, I just had no interest in paying $35 for a MOTUC repaint.
Proud supporter of the Snake Men.

Most Wanted: Slave Girl, Crita, Lizorr, Tyrantisaurus Rex, Great Black Wizard.
Most Wanted Filmation: Lord Masque, Ileena, Granita, General Sunder, Teela, He-Man, Skeletor, Hordak head.

No Slave Girl? Watch us hurl!

A barbaric world without slave girls? That's truly barbaric!

I bought Draego Man as he looked awesome, but when his fire weapons arrived in the weapons pack, I have to say he jumped massively in my estimations. With that damn fire whip/sword, he has to be one of my favourites in the line!

So I am pratically jobless, I'm interested in less than 50% of the figures released and I have to subscribe to have figures like Fang Man? This is a dirty blackmail! Eliminate the "day of sale" and combine the subscriptions with the preorders for a single figure NOW!

If I could I would buy everything. But since I can't I have to pass on some of them.
The ones that I wouldn't buy ever are: Vykron, Photog, Spector and Dekker because I simply don't like them
About your list, some of the characters you don't know are from the MYP cartoon or 2002 cartoon. It is different from the original but evolved like the bios but better.

I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS ON MY LIST AND WOULD ALSO LOVE TO SEE YOUR LIST
My thoughts on your list? Well, since you're asking, I think it shows a very narrow view of the Masters of the Universe brand: strong vintage-only bias with no interest in Filmation/PoP/NA/200X, to the point of rejecting non-vintage characters simply for their mere (but apparently deadly) sin of not being vintage, while making efforts to accept vintage figures such as Spikor merely because of their being vintage (even though you admit you can't even stand that character). You even (and seemingly almost proudly) claim to not even know who Marzo, Optikk, Carnivus or the Shadow Beasts are... I mean, one may or may not like them, but I think no one should consider themself a "MotU fan" while proudly proclaiming not to know who those anything-but-obscure characters are. You even seem rather confused about basic aspects of the MotUC incarnation—I mean, calling The Mighty Spector "a horseman's idea for a figure from when he was a kid" just after wondering if "someone just made Draego-Man up"... wow! Mistaking TG for one of the 4H leaves me speechless.

    2008-2009:
Goddess: Brittle Green Teela... If she wasn't so brittle I'd be more interested.
    2010:
Tytus: Too small for a "Giant" Too little Articulation for a MOTUC.
Gygor: Vikron's bio made him more interesting, but not feeling the urge to hunt him down.
    2011:
    Megator: See Tytus
    2012:
Procrustus: While he has 6 more POA than the other giants, the Tytus and Megator reasons apply to him.
    2013:
Icer: not too fond of the guy, Staff of avion ALMOST makes him interesting enough.
Fang Man: I was undecided, the figure wasn't that interesting, but the sword of the ancients was interesting enough... Mattel made the choice for me so I ain't getting him.
Batros: I ALMOST want him, but it's mostly to make Batman jokes... Easily skippable.
FINALLY!! GLIMMER IS IN MY SHELF!! Now I need a Crita!! Crita is to Mara what Evil Lyn is to Teela. If we ARE getting Mara, then we NEED Crita.

I'll just go ahead and admit that what you said pretty much sums up my bias. I'm focused on mostly vintage MOTU with just a dash of POP, NA, and 200X. If these figures were smaller and cheaper (comparable to DCUC for instance) I wouldn't hesitate to buy them all.
