Very cool!
This has been a figure that I have wanted made into classics figure form for a long time now, and I am very happy to finally see him completed.
The chest armor was the hardest part to work out how to properly do on this figure, and I was honestly unsure if I could properly update this figure due to the fact that his armor, honestly wont work as how its normally viewed.. as seen here...
As like this, from most shots his armor comes down an connects directly to his belt.. which would mean the loss of ab articulation if made from sculpey, plus not counting the fact it is 100% new tool... so modification of an existing part wont work.
It actually took a accident where a rude local person I know crushed an armor that I had made entirely out of sculpey trying to replicate this appearance for me to step back and decide to make a part as SUPER thin as possible out of sculpey, but then to make a mold of that part and then cast it in soft plastic made from existing MOTUC capes.
But, thankfully... I figured out how to do it now without the loss of ANY articulation and at the same time workout out how the armor would "realistically" be made. Which can also be seen in the following less noticed image...
So with that info, I managed to modify the armor an make a working armor that still looked close to the usual look of his armor, but is also functional.
The head was total blind luck. It was made by a friend of mine from over on facebook named Mast Er Custom who had mentioned he was making a few Filmation heads that he had always wanted and he made this Filmation Clawful as one of that set as well. So that saved me a TON of work custom making a head. You can check out his facebook for images of the others if your wanna see em. Here is a link to his page... https://www.facebook.com/mast.custom
So after alot of work, I finally have made one of my all time favorite Filmation characters...
FILMATION CLAWFUL
I hope you guys enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed making this figure...

Great work. Wow . He really Looks like a modern Version from an old figure Concept. Just like the motucs.
I have to admit, I've never been a fan of Filmation Clawful but I actually like this one.
It would be nice to see him next to Fang-Man as soon as he is available.
Maybe Marzo as an archenemy was the biggest thing to happen to Mekaneck, but as far as Marzo was concerned...it was Tuesday.

Thanks!
I have not been in the custom section for quite some time and just stumbled across your General (Rattlor) and I love the way he came out. Can't wait to see him in full armor.![]()

Nice work! I keep forgetting how visually different the Filmation Clawful is to the toy/comic version. He looks like an entirely different character. Not to mention a lizard.
Awesome work!

I am not a fan of the filmation figures but this is one great looking custom. Nice work.![]()
Actually, this was one of my next possibilities for my next personal MOTUC custom....now, I think as soon as I can find some donor figures....I'll get it going.
And actually this is the first time the Skeletor shins a feet look appropriate and accurate.
Good job!
Recent....Strobo & Snake Face
Coming....Foe Men, Karatti & Spirit of Hordak!!!
Wanted....Filmation Hordak & Clawful, Seahawk, Castaspella, Batros & Icer
Considering....Mosquitor, Leech
Needed....Dragstor, Mantenna,Two Bad & Attack Trak
Thanks for all the kind words everyone, this was a figure I had wanted in classics since I first discovered it. The filmation versions of "some" of the characters are still a major favorite of mine even to this day.
Over all, I think he turned out very nicely.

Congratulations for your awesome work !!!
In this case, I do not agree with ToyGuru...in my opinion, Clawful deserves two more versions (or heads)....![]()
Very good job!
Clawful head is amazing, but also your paint job is great!
