Motuc Neptunians: Evil minions of merman

I ever thought : merman is a Ocean warlord? Where the hell are all his henchman??

Finally, Three in a row are slithering out from the depths

1. Krakor : my imagination of a German audioplay Charakter. The audioplay s called: 'der feurige Eisvogel.' He also got influance from the neptunian People from an old ladybird Book . The German word for octopus is 'kraken'

2. As a Kid One of my absolutely favorited figures was neptul. Today i Know he's from blackstar. But As a Kid i thought He was a Master of the Universe and i was the only One who had that cool figure in my hometown ^^
so i had to do this. Yes the vintage Head is a Little Bit too Big and vintage. But for me its okay. Just a nice nostalgic Feeling . And Hey its a Fish. Fishes are all ugly As hell ^^

3. Is the aquanaut. I Know.. This 'Special Head' is not really famous in the custom Section ^^ but i have so much Palace guards heads. Don't Know what to do with them.
Here is no Story for that Charakter. Maybe He is a Lost-in-the-sea Palace Guard. Now living under the spell of the Ocean warlord. He is a Little Bit a Fun custom.

Holy cow! Those are very impressive. The Aquanaut reminds me of the old comic Sea-Monkey artwork.

A feast for the eyes. What a bunch of awesome customs!!! I especially like the Aquanaut. Krakor actually DOES look somewhat like an updated version of Mer-Man's minions from the Ladybird books. Fun!

Aquanaut:

Head: palaceguard, sculpey
Body: complete merman
Armor: a piece of hero's Cape, a piece of bow's 'Arrow-bag', a Plastic chain, the 'backpack' of snoutspouts armor and the helmet is a clear plastic Ball from a crafting Shop ( don't Know if it is the right word for that ) made a hole for the Head and sculpted that Three 'windows' and the Spikes.
Harpoon: 200x rattlor snake Staff , a piece of King randor spear
Shield: Palace Guard and a playmobil Bird

Krakor:

Head: merman ( cutted some pieces off), Sculpey
Body: battle armor skeletor, sculpey
Armor: merman, 200x merman
Tentacle-whip-thing: a Halloween Item from the Local Store. Originally you put that things on your Finger and ..well.. Try to scare someone i think ^^

Neptul:

Head: vintage blackstar-neptul Head
Torso: leech
Arms: King randor
Hands: demoman
Swim Trunks: King hiss
Legs and feets: skeletor
Armor: some cape, maybe also hero, Sculpey
Shield: vintage neptul

Krakor and Aquanaut are far too awesome to be mere minions. If anything, these scurvy dogs should be feared by Mer-Man as potential usurpers to his slippery throne.

That Neptul is incredible! What brand/color of paint did you use for the skin? It looks perfect.

the colors from
My Local Store. They are cheaper than Games Workshop etc. But they are.don't Know how to explain that.. Not so smooth in Handling . A Little Bit grainy. The figures will Look more like stactions, or the motuc prototypes. Doesn't really fits to the other motucs like Games Workshop colors. But thats ok for me.
The Colors are from the German Brand 'hobbyline'.

Aquanaut is the JAM! One of the best I've ever seen! I think he can do with a Trap Jaw belt painted to match his divers' helmet. I really love Krakor too. The barnacles stuck all over him are a fantastic touch. I'm not connecting with Neptul though.
