Are you a MOC or loose collector when it comes to MOTUC

Just curious to see what percentage of org members collect these figures MOC/MIB versus how many are loose figure collectors.

I personally have both a MOC and a loose collection going.

I can afford them better loose, but I've been very lucky with a few MOC finds, and they look so darn nice in there, I'm loathe to open them...

I was a heavy MOSC collector....I opened mine and tossed the bubbles because I thought I was going to move, and would have to store them for a little while....turns out....it did not happen....color me ******....

That being said I chose to keep the painted ones carded, but have since opened them, but I keep the packaging now, and have a new count of 17 packages so that if ever I wish to do so, I can repackage a lot of them again....Zoloworld cases make an opened figure look as if it was still sealed....so I have that as an option.

My preference is MOSC, although I do open them and display them, I figured, I opened them, I might as well continue....so I am kind of both, but again, I prefer MOSC to loose, and I have the option to repackage everything from Spikor on in my collection except Frosta....

Spikor, Mekaneck, DB Skeletor, Rattlor, CGM, Randor, TOD Sorceress, Netossa, Granamyr....plus newer old ones....Buzz Off, Catra, Marlena, Griffin. And ones I never opened or bought extras of....She-Ra, Trap Jaw, Shadow Weaver.....And one smelly fella, that is sealed in a ZW case, because I couldn't stand the smell he was emitting.

So....if you count my answer, consider me for MOSC.

Gotta be loose. Having toys in package gives me the shakes and I develop a rash. Best to open them to keep my sanity.

Loose. I liberate all my figures from their plastic prisons.

Crap....I couldn't vote MOSC, because I have a majority loose collection, but I am still on the record as a MOSC supporter.....

And that is my true preference, I just don't get why others can't get that it's a viable way to collect, and they can be enjoyed just as easily sealed....but whatever.

I don't have to touch my toys to enjoy them....I am not a kid anymore, so long as I bought a couple extras if the mood ever struck me to open, and mess with from time to time, I was completely satisfied with my MOSC collection, and I am still ****** I opened them. But it would have been hard to store at the time 45+ carded & boxed figures, plus my 100 some Transformers and mt TMNT Classics, and all my Hot Wheels....something had to give, and sadly it was my carded MOTUC, because a lot of my Transformers were already opened due to storing my collection as it was because I had no place to display them....so it fell to my MOTUC....to make the sacrifice.

Yes! I love seeing my MOC collection with all the figures lined up in rows and rows on my shelves, AND I can't wait to see my loose collection posed with Castle Grayskull this December!

this is the only line that I collect loose. Was more economicical since I started late and I like to pair them the way I want to with the heads and accessories I want to.

I began the line buying two or three of each, then when the subs were offered I bought three. Now I've moved to two subs so that I can still have one of each: MOSC and Loose! (Of course this is how I am with EVERY line I collect..... much to the chagrin of my wife. Buying multiples of import figures gets very costly.....)

I wanted to have both, but MOTUC is too expensive to have two collections. With that said, I have multiples of probably 80% of the line with about 30 MOC extras I've amassed to someday open.

I started off my MOTUC collection as MOSC. But as the line kept growing I quickly started to run out of room to display them! So around the release of Battleground Teela & The Faceless One (June 2011); I opened them all (except my 1st edition He-Man & Skeletor). A decision I do not regret to this day! I love my loose collection and will continue to support the "open" community!

I have a complete loose set, a complete MOC set and a complete AFA graded set.

There are some figures completely changed like Trap Jaw that now is Kronis or there are some figures with the opened bubble but they still got the rubber bands...for example I opened Triklops only to add the second sword or I opened Battleground Teela to transform it in K'yrulla:

This is how it went for me as well. I started as just a MOC collector but eventually started collecting both MOC and loose.

I open these things up! There's been a few that I've gotten a second one of to keep MOC.
