It really disheartens me to have to put Man-E this low on the list. Man-E-Faces was one of two figures I first received as a child. The sculpt of the MOTUC figure is great – no problems there at all. And the inclusion of a second accessory including the “faces” of Skeletor, He-Man, and Orko is awesome. The problem with the figure, however, is two-fold: 1) the figure has some of the wobbliest, unsturdy shoulder and hip joints of any figure I own. I can literally pick the figure up, shake it, and the hips will sway more than Elvis in his prime. 2) the figure is sculpted after the card art, yet the figure is painted more like the vintage toy. While it doesn’t look “bad” at all, the figure nonetheless should have been painted like the card art to match its inspiration and source material. As a result, the look is just a little “off.” I love Man-E, but the figure just has two swipes against it from being ranked higher.
Pigmented at birth.
