You've found my #1 favorite MOTUC figure.
Trap Jaw was my all time favorite MOTU figure, I used that loop on his helmet to zip him around my room with Fishing Line....he got a lot of play time, him, He-Man, Mekaneck & TP He-Man. I loved Faker but could never find one....

He's a good one - and I did the zipline thing all the time too as a child!

Kobra Kahn and Ram-Man are easily top 10 for me. One thing I would add as a plus about Fisto is the addition of the giant 200x sword and place for its holster.

Love Fisto of course. I wish his hair was the same color as the original, but otherwise love him. At first I thought his face was too detailed but it's grown on me.

Rattlor is cool but I'm not tempted to buy him. The only snake man I ever liked was KK. Rattlor is a very nice update from the original, though.

Trap Jaw, Fisto and Scare Glow are all Top-10 for me, Trap Jaw might be number one. Bow was a great update but a weird mix of masculine and feminine. Glad I send all my PoP figures to a PoP fan in Canada!

Terrific list Rockin! My only regret is figures like Two Bad, Ninjor, Rio Blast, etc, etc won't be included. You'll have to redo this entire thing when the line ends you know!

Bow

The vintage figure, to me, looks horrible. I didn’t care for the design then, or even that much for the design or character in the cartoon. But then came SDCC, and when Bow was unveiled, I was in shock at the wonders the Horsemen did to their Bow. The figure looks very cartoon-based, but with outstanding added details to the armor, bracers, boots, quiver, bow, and both face/head sculpts (I stick to the FILMation head, which is what I prefer when it comes PoP). This is about the coolest update one could do of Bow to make him line-up aesthetically with other figures, giving him that needed boost. Impressive.

Bow is a wonderful figure. I love his design, colors, and I've always sort of liked the character.

I do have a two issues with the figure though.

1. The loose armor. It's needed a strap to keep it down for certain poses. That irritates me.

2. The arrow is too short for the bow?? What's up with that? That should have been one of the most important aspects of the figure that was focused on.

Other than that, Bow is indeed an awesome figure, and hands down one of the most beautifully updated and realized classics figure.

And yes, Kobra Khan and Rattlor are two of the best figures in the line. Both would be in my top ten, and Rattlor would be in my personal top 5.

Whiplash

The updated face sculpt is magnificent. It’s one of the best updates in the line. The buck and tail are also well sculpted and painted (and I prefer this tail over the wobbly/jiggly vintage one). The extra head and 200x weapon, while cool, seem more like a waste because they don’t look right on the vintage design. And that vintage design is the way to go – it looks outstanding, causing Whiplash to maintain his “vintage” style while also evoking a more menacing, detailed figure.

Beast Man

Beast Man is a bit of an underrated figure. I remember having Stratos, He-Man, Skeletor at the beginning of the line and easily thinking Beast Man was the best of the four. The figure looks like it was lifted off the cardback; gone is that goofy-looking expression, now replaced with ferocity and some intimidating, detailed armor. The “beast buck” was first utilized here and is spot-on. THIS is Beast Man.

Catra

Catra is the single reason why I started to collect every figure in the MOTUC line. Until this figure was unveiled, I only wanted the vintage ones. But Catra was and is AWESOME. It has easily become one of my personal favorites in the line. The figure has a sexy-bad look, with or without mask, and is just an overall great sculpt. The accessories are in the wrong color, so mine sports the red Beast Man whip, which seems to fit much better. I love Catra.

Catra is the only PoP figure I kept. I really like what she adds to the Horde. I don' t care which show or toyline the Horde was created for, I like the group to be whole!

Beastman is just awesome in this line and I'm glad he made your top ten! What I've always been impressed with on him is the paint apps on his face and teeth. He's one of the better 8-back translations too. Love it.

Whiplash is great. Beastman I would put closer to the top..love him. And Catra...while she turned out great....I didn't care for her as much because of the Stupid comb whip and that big pink sword. She lacks a proper weapon. That and mine has the loosest knee I've ever seen...makes her hard to stand. Your pics are amazing and I can't wait to see your top 7!

I'm happy to see Beast Man and Whiplash up so high. I don't think Whiplash could have been updated any better. They fixed the floating middle tooth of the original and made him look super menacing but bright and colorful at the same time. One of the classic MOTU brutes. Love the shoulder and tail detailing.

Beast Man is of course the original MOTU brute. I love mine, but the beast legs look a bit funny up near the top/inner thigh. The muscle seems to pop out at a sharp angle and then go back in toward the crotch. That mostly disappears behind the loin cloth if you pose him hunched/squatting, which I do. Also the sides of the calf muscles seem a bit exaggerated. I'd also prefer a slightly brighter shade of orange for his body.

Despite those nitpicks, he's one of my favorites as well. His armor, by the way, is absolutely perfect. Great paint apps, great sculpting.

I can't say I'm all that impressed by Catra, but then I have zero interest in POP stuff.
