    Star Wars Black Series

New six inch Star Wars figures coming in 2013!

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/m...-toys/1872035/

This sounds awesome to me. I haven't collected anything Star Wars related since 2005 but I'm going to have to seriously watch these. What do you all think?

Oh wow...it's official, eh? Saw the rumors yesterday.

I'm honestly very excited about this! I stopped collecting the 3.75" line, and only started buying a few figures here and there. I always said that a 6" line would be the thing to draw me back in to really collecting Star Wars again. Bye-bye money...

    That Luke looks REALLY great!

Yeah, these have been rumored forever! You know, I might actually give these a go. At least some of them. I'm a TINY bit uninspired by the character selection for the first four releases. But I'll still pick some up for sure.

I'm eager to see how Vader, Han Solo & Qui Gonn among others may look like; Hasbro may have to create a different single mold pretty much for each figure I'd like to get those initial 4, except for Luke maybe, its head sculpt made him look quite depressed or full of apathy.

I do really hope line is a success and Hasbro then launches G.I.Joe Classics Black series also; it would be a awesome if design style and scale are similar between those 2 lines and you can mix them, just picture Cobra B.A.T's next to Stormtroopers.

Yea the lineup is a bit weird. Why not so a more standard Luke, Vader, R2 and Stormtrooper? I'm sure they will come if the line continues...but still, you would think they would launch with their A-game.
It is spelled "Crita", not "Critta". Misspell her name and Crita will knock the "T" out of you!

    Also...get her into the line!

I'm anxious to see a ROTJ Luke with cloak and such. I sort of wish that was their first release. But I do think this X-Wing Luke looks pretty great!

I'm already foaming at the mouth thinking about a 6" Boba Fett and Aayla Secura!

Whoa, never saw this coming. I've always dreamt of a six inch Star Wars line. It’s long overdue, IMO. That Luke looks quality.

This is exactly the one I would have liked first, actually. I wonder if R2D2 will come with a lot of different alternate parts or something to justify the $20? Or maybe he'll be electronic.

Wow....$20 each. Darth Maul was a kick-ass choice! Hope the articulation is up.

Or pack him with Yoda or another smaller character.

So Doctor Who, DC, Marvel comics and other toy lines are going to 3/34" and Star Wars is moving up to six inch too? Strange.

I will get these if they make them:
Obi Wan Kenobi (young and old)
    All Ewoks
    Any Cantina patrons
    Any Jabba the Hutt's gang
    Maybe R2 and 3po

Hmmmm... I may get some of these. I'll likely pick and choose. I'll probably pass on that version of Luke in hopes of getting him in his regular clothes from ANH and/or his cloak from ROTJ. I don't see myself being "completest" with this line by any means, especially if they go too far into prequel and/or obscure background character territory, but these should be cool.

Despite my dislike of Episode I, Darth Maul will be a cool figure. And Vader will be a must have, of course. I wonder how these would look standing next to MOTUC figures! Vader vs. Skeletor or Hordak!

Maul is probably the only Episode I character I can think of actually buying. I do hope Vader is in the second assortment of 4, at least.

This could be a really great line, but it must include Princess Leia. I'd also like to see Padme/Queen Amidala and some of the female Jedi.

Doctor who is going to 3 3/4? At least they aren't changing the classics size looks like. I still need just a 1st and 8th Doctors and guess I am done, may not have minded a Clara but since she won't be in scale makes it pointless. She does look good however, and I see why they so many companies are going to this size so kids can cross play, and at that scale figures tend to fit in better with each other than taller scales.

This is awesome news I've been wondering for years why this had not been done already (only reason I guess is due to vehicle scale). I'll still probably buy both the 3 inch and 6 inch version. I just hope this does well and they are released more like Motuc eventually with a figure every month, Like someone also said, I would love to see a Gi Joe line in this scale too

So Hasbro is gonna make a highly articulated 6" line and sell it in retail stores for 19.99? Sounds awesome to me. I can't wait. I too would love to see this carry over to G.I.Joe ARAH.

I love how whenever I read anything you write I always hear it in my head with your voice from your review videos.

But yeah, 6" Boba Fett is going to be amazing! Also can't wait to see Chewbacca done in this style. Mace Windu too.

    well there goes my money...

at 19.99 it at least shows that MOTUC isn't insanely priced considering how small the line is.
I want NA Skeletor and Rio Blast and I want them now!

    Hadn't even thought of Aalya....

"After being left for dead following the betrayal of her Clone Troopers, Aalya Secura was saved and whisked to Etheria by the Mighty Spector (everyone eventually does something right). Healed by She-Ra, she joins the Great Rebellion!"

At least that is the reason she will be on the She-Ra part of my display
