    NICE!

If this is true, I KNEW Boba Fett would get a regular retail release outside of SDCC. No way could he be exlcusive only.

Interesting we're already getting a Luke variant, but I'm ok with that. Bespin Luke is probably my favorite version.

VERY excited about Slave Leia and Greedo.

YES!.....wait, TWO Luke figures slated but no Darth Vader for him to fight? At least E3 Anakin and Obi Wan are together. I hope this line does super good, there's a lot of characters I'd like to see in this scale. I did not expect Greedo so soon either. Wow, and Slave Leia? Oh I hope they do right by her. No monkey face!

I'm glad Boba Fett is getting a regular release too....but I still prefer to have the SDCC with Han in Carbonite for my display purposes. Gotta have Jabba's favorite decoration. Now that we're getting Slave Leia (hopefully) I hope we get a deluxe Jabba. And I'm holding out on Luke till Jedi Master Luke is released.

Yeah, I want the SDCC Boba Fett as well, but can't afford those prices right now. Hopefully they come down some.

Man, an in-scale Jabba would be hard to imagine. I guess he'd be in the Granamyr size and price range, but he totally needs his playset/throne with hooka too.

I've got too much nostalgia for the Bespin Luke figure for me to pass him up though. That was my default Luke figure for years even after Jedi came out. Actually his black outfit in Jedi looked too much like an imperial costume for my liking, but it's not like I disliked that look either. I think the only versions of Luke I don't so much care about are his X-wing Flight Suit, the ANH ending ceramony costume, the Degobah training tank top, and his Hoth costume, so I guess I'm glad the second Luke wasn't one of those.

If we got a 6" scale Jabba with exclusive Oola, I'd be so excited, I'd have to get it. My main focus of SW for the last several years has been Princess Leia, Amidala, and the female Jedi, but I'd make an exception for Jabba.

I wonder how much a 6" scale Jabba would set us back? 200 bucks?

In mass retail, probably $99 (or less), $129 max if you add in all his accessories and give him his whole display like in the 80's. Just think MOTUC Granamyr but on a very large production scale and you can see why it would be cheaper

Hasbro could do a Jabba at $50-$60 standing on their head.

Have you guys seen this yet? Production version compared to the prototype...

Granted, prototypes always look better than the final production piece. But, this is still disappointing. I'm hoping it looks better in person.

It also doesn't have the advantage of good lighting and lots of Photoshop (Hasbro touches up their promo pics to an extreme level.)

I suspect they'll look much better in hand. The only thing I really miss are the panels being more clearly defined.

Oh, wow that is a HUGE difference.

And he is also missing a "leg". (sorry I don't know the correct terminology)

The leg slides down, I believe. And the blue pieces on the side are detachable and just not detached on the pic on the right. It's a definite step down. But I think the only way they could get the lines filled in would be to do a wash, and a wash on white plastic might have been a bad idea.

Thanks for the clarification. I am new to collecting Star Wars, so I apologize for sounding like a newbie.

Yeah it looks like most of the detail is still there but as is always (almost anyway) the case with retail figures they had to reduce paint apps to keep the cost down. You give this thing a slight wash and change around the lighting a bit and it will look much closer.

The first look has way too much shadow for me to believe that just a paint job making it look that way

I am most looking forward to Han Solo. Always been a favorite. So far it's going to be the Lukes, Han, R2-D2, Boba Fett and Greedo for me....but that may and probably will change when we see them in stores.
