Reliable sources say we will get a huge set for SDCC.

    Theme: Filmation Pajamas Collection

Figures will be garbed in their pajamas as often seen in Filmation episodes.

Pack includes: Adam, Teela, King Randor, and the Mighty Spector.

Side note: Teela's PJ's were a little seductive in the cartoon. I guess her everyday outfit was basically a swimsuit.

The general rule of thumb with pre-reveals (in other words fan speculation) is... if its mentioned continually in post after post (as Rokkon and Stonedar have been), it most likely has merit. Where there's smoke there's fire, in other words. Also, the fact that we have yet to see the 'rock people' buck show up in MOTUC means this could be a great way to get that out there. It may be a two shot deal only (since the female buck obviously isn't going to share anything other than engineering), but Ram Man isn't exactly getting rampant re-use either, and we got him. I'm just saying, there is obviously no proof at this point jabbing a definitive finger at the rock people as THE exclusive, but there are signs it could very well happen.

Oh, that's my most wanted Galactic Protector and I'm sure he'd look awesome using Ram Man's buck. Too bad this was only a fan mock up.

It has been said before that Ram Man isn't a regular buck. It was made to be a unique figure.

Can the Ram Man buck be reused to make the Ram Man from the Dare, son of He-man era? It be a great way to re-use the buck.

Toyguru: No. It isn't a generic buck. It is a detailed 100% unique sculpt.

I am thinking Rokkon, Stondar and Granita (would love if Calix was in this pack too) and Road Ripper. How awesome would it to have MOTUC Road Ripper race at Power-con with a classics version I didn't get to go last year or this but if Power-con was ever in the midwest or on the east coast the possibility could present itself. And a Road Ripper wouldn't have to be much bigger than the old one.

I wonder if Rokkon, Stonedar, Granita, and Calix all of the same species? Has this been brought up before?

I hope not. I believe the Comet Warriors are humans with rock/stone armor, not humaniod rocks like their Filmation versions, or Callix.

That's not to say I don't want Callix, he just isn't a Comet Warrior. An evil Comet Warrior should be an evil character with rock armor, IMO.

This makes more sense after seeing all three images. Thanks for clarifying.

As an aside, I would welcome all three characters. I would want Calix most of all because I'm a Horde fan.

I am unsure about the skinny old trap-jaw legs on that upper buck, but that is a great concept for Tuskador figure.

I am not as enthusiastic as some about the Rock People, but do hope we get them at some point. Not really sure why I like Callix so much, but I am really hoping we see him soon too.

I think he might be referring to the rumored Stan Lee MOTU figure. Not sure if there's any truth to that rumor or what the figure would be for.

what's all this hysteria about? Let's wait and see what Mattel shows us first.

BTW, that Tuskador rules! I would love for the classics version to be similar to this.

King Hiss was a totally new, uniquely sculpted buck, but that didn't prevent them from re-using some of his parts for Draego Man. I think the communication broke down a little with the use of the word "buck." SOHM Rammy would need some new pieces (quite a few, I think), though a few from the existing figure might be usable. Re-use may be possible for some parts, but Mattel doesn't see the Rammy body as a fully re-usable body like, say, He-Man was.

The Rock Warriors have two looks, as well...either as stone or as humanoids

Although, I do LOVE the Evilseed idea--I have been pushing for a 200x/FILMation hybrid for years now!!!

The Comet/Rock Warriors are a perfect foil for the Snakemen when you think about it. Pretty much immune to fangs, poison, constriction, and being turned to stone... heh. They shall gather at the command of their true leader, Procrustus!!!!

But the COMET warriors aren't made of stone, they simply have stone armor. Correct me if I'm wrong.
