ToysRUs asks if He-Man is Cooler than Thundercats...

On ToysRUs' Facebook page, they have the following post:

True or False: He-Man is way cooler than ThunderCats

Now...I'm not sure if this is just something they're doing for fun, or if they're gauging fan interest in He-Man, to see if they should start selling MOTUC stuff again. Either way, if you have Facebook...everyone should go and post that it's TRUE! I said I love both, but it's true.

False. I love He-Man, but Thundercats are just plain cooler. Would LOVE if they were compatible with MOTUC though.

Hmmm. Vintage vs Vintage is a tie to me, I loved both. The figures were both cool, and I loved both lines, and I loved both Cartoons.

2011 Cartoon Network Thundercats vs Comics for MOTUC....I'll pick Cartoon Network TC, because I don't care for comics. But MOTUC beats anything Bandai came out with.

I have the 8" Lion-O, and while he's very tight, tighter in fact than most of my pre Spikor MOTUC, he has non matching paint that is really noticeable. But he is much better
than that 4" & 6" lines of modern Thundercats.

Now my TMNT Classics are another story, to me they are really good, no loose joints at all, and they look awesome all 4 together. I hope they get to Metal Head and Shredder,
if not, At least they completed all four Turtles, unlike Thundercats Classics, they could have at least done all the Thundercats in the 6" Classics line. But to me, TMNT Classics
are just as good a line as MOTUC....better in some aspects.

Thundercats is to MOTU like M.A.S.k was to G.I. Joe and what GoBOTs was to Transformers, 2nd rate, IMO.

Interesting. I wonder what the exact intention of this is. Retail has potential, not necessarily Classics, but mini Masters has retail written all over it. This could be awesome. Just having MOTU at retail imagine it people, imagine it. Hope it's not some lame 'visit our FB page' stunt, and that it does mean something. Even if it's just on their radar, I'm calling that a win.

This is not an easy decision for me I like them both....
Is kinda weird though, all of sudden the WWE thing, a movie being made and now toy r us wants
to know who we like better on their Facebook page.

The kitties from Thundera any day of the week for me. Though Motu had cooler toys always, TC is/was and always will be THE show.

Couldn't have said it better!! ThunderCats were ALWAYS a bad rip off of He Man, in my opinion. There shouldn't even be question of who is the best.

i agree. in my opinion there is even more gap between this two series respect the mask/gijoe or gobots/transformers.

can we ban the people that prefer thunderctas? I mean, seriously? just kidding

anyway they lack of designs and the one that I like the most is a rip off of a filmation gorgon soldier (the garth episode)

Thundercats had a small history ( i Loved it and i still look for the icon heroes stactions, i do have mummra and lion oh) i used to loved it too, it was more fluid and had more action escenes maybe but motu had a real big background, history, adventure if u add she-ra it was huge
i love both but im more into motu!
