Couldn't have said it better!! ThunderCats were ALWAYS a bad rip off of He Man, in my opinion. There shouldn't even be question of who is the best.

Thundercats is nothing like He-Man. I can see the comparison of Go-Bots and Transformers, and MASK and GI Joe, but Thundercats is hardly mimicking He-man. It's a close call for me, but I'd love to see some Thundercats done in MOTUC style. I've vowed that MOTUC is the last new line I'm ever collecting, after this it's vintage only, unless we get a Thundercats Classics that I can drool over. Then I'm totally in!

I watched Thunder cats as a kid and had Lion-o but if I had the choice between watching either Thunder cats or He-man it wouldn't have been a contest. He-man hands down was way more popular with me and the kids I knew back then.

Let us look at this in a very cold, dispassionate way:

With the modern T-Cats line impldoing after a couple of waves, even with a TV show to back it, there is virtually no chance of TRU carrying a new Cats line in the near future. So a vote for Thundercats will basically have no affect on any decision of, say, what toys to carry.

TRU actually sold three sets of two-packs with MOTUC without any media backing. True, the packs ended after the third set, but I don't know that they would consider them a failure. That means a door could be open for MOTU to sneak back into TRU in some form.

I wouldn't get any hopes up, but, looking at it from a purely logical prespective, a vote for T-Cats will basically do nothing. A vote for MOTU has at least some slight chance of doing something. Simple logic.

I've always been a He-Man guy. Thundercats is cool, but not nearly as cool as MOTU.

Now my TMNT Classics are another story, to me they are really good, no loose joints at all, and they look awesome all 4 together. I hope they get to Metal Head and Shredder,
if not, At least they completed all four Turtles, unlike Thundercats Classics, they could have at least done all the Thundercats in the 6" Classics line. But to me, TMNT Classics
are just as good a line as MOTUC....better in some aspects.

Bebop and Rocksteady were revealed a couple of days ago for TMNT Classics. They look extremely awesome, especially Bebop.

Cool, they do look nice, but I see they didn't articulate their fingers, smaller digits, so it's for the better.

I like both too. But as cool as Thundercats are, I like He-Man even more.

If TRU did look into MOTUC again, I suggest that they might wanna look into something for She-Ra too. Most of the fans laughed at that two pack on the .org, but the reality was that Supergirl/She-Ra 2 pack couldn't be found. People snatched it up despite the terrible Supergirl figure.

A limited edition POP subline MIGHT rock over at retail.

This is a tough one for me. I was a bigger MOTU fan as a kid but I liked Thundercats too and grew to appreciate them more as an adult. Mumm Ra is hands down my favorite 80s villain (Sorry Skeletor and Megatron). As an adult I enjoy both equally so I can call this a tie for me.

That's an easy one. Thundercats was a decent cartoon, but the toys reeked of suckage. He-Man was both a great cartoon and the toys were 7 layers of awesome. IMHO there really is no comparison. He-man rules over Thundercats.
