MOTUC vs ThunderCats now that would be a cool two pack. I could see a Teela vs Cheetara pak doing good in stores

MOTU is far in front of Thundercats for me. But I must admit that Transformers, Star Wars, and GI*JOE come ahead of MOTU in my toy collecting hierarchy. But given that I collect just about everything from the 80's, #4 isn't a bad spot.

Of course, they're not. I mean, it's not like both lines are about a young royal heir with a magical sword in a world that mixes magic and high tech protecting a stylized stronghold against an undead villain who has henchmen that are anthropomorphic animals.
No similarities at all. I mean, take that away from Thundercats, and what have you lost?

    I voted for MOTU.

The way I see it, who would I rather have with me in a fight. The most powerful man in the universe, or a cat that can do back flips?

For me without a doubt He-man is the coolest.

however, right now for me, the 8" Lion-O and Tirga and the 6" 2011 thundercats are Chief Carnivus' royal guard. So in my personal mythos the thundercats are a tribe on Eternia, like the Masters of the Quadians.

He-Man all the way. I really love classic Thundercats but not quit as much as MOTU.

Nothing like having a debate/question of this nature on a site called "He-Man.org."

LOL! It'd be pretty funny if they're also saying He-Man is cooler on the ThunderCats site!

I'm a huge fan of the ThunderCats franchise but it can't even compete with MOTU.

He-Man & The Masters of the Universe is a much cooler franchise.

Now you see that would be some thing to talk about or even if the question was asked on some thing like Hisstank or Rebelscum, but to have it here is just a taddddddd biased...

Although I do realize that it's just for fun more then any thing else. In *this* environment however, you realistically aren't really answering the question.

I'd say He-Man. I found the toys and Filmation cartoon better than the Thundercats toys and 80s cartoon. I do like the recent reboot cartoon of Thundercats a little better than the MYP He-Man cartoon.

I dont do Facebook, but it is clear that He-Man is superior in every way. That being said, I do love the Thundercats. They just are not MOTU.

Coolest? No. But do I like He-man better? Yes

I love them both. I grew up with them both. I collect them both. BUT, there is no way Thundercats comes close to the awesomeness of He-man. There's been many incarnations of he-man, spinoffs, movies, multiple toy lines. No way Thundercats compares. He-man wins hands down.

He-Man was the 80s toy/cartoon trendsetter. ThunderCats was more of a wannabe.

Can someone post the results of this? I don't look at Facebook.

I do not have a Facebook account so I will not vote. But if I had an account, He-Man would get my vote.
Actually I never heard of Thundercats and did not know what it is until they started to promote it at PowerCon with MOTU. Then I just had a brief look at Thundercats and did not find it interesting.
Also I saw the Thundercats action figure video review by Pixel Dan. The figure's quality and execution is nowhere close to the fantastic MOTU Classics line.
