Who wants the DC designs of characters in MOTUC?

I'd really dig the new He-man and Skeletor. The Man-At-Arms new look with out the armor looks sweet as well. I'd be in for the new designs as figures.

If the comic proves successful enough, they could use these designs as a new way to bring different MOTU product to the market.
These designs do not belong in the MOTUC line though.

If they're made for a Retail Line that is compatible with MOTUC (Translation: MOTUC Bucks with DC comic inspired armor) then yes. Tossed into the MOTUC line, no.

That armor Teela was wearing in the first issue and the Battle Cat digital short looked very cool and would be great to get. Otherwise I want Classics designs in the comics more than the other way around.

I want some of them....ie Despara.....maybe those demon guys.......but some of them I could definately do without. Then of course we already have the Randor and Carnivus.

Absolute no. Not before 2015. If there is demand it should be prioritized behind the current fanbase and figures that have yet to be made.

The barbarian fan in me would want He-Man and Teela.

But I think the fans are too fearful of the line ending before their favorites come out to want new looks like these. For a while, people relaxed this attitude (but then the line was doing gangbusters). Now that the line has a more limited lifespan, the old fears of getting characters before the line dies have re-emerged, along with the Era Wars. It's sad things have come to this. I remember when fans used to be excited about new ideas for figures.

Also I like the Teela from the the last issue and SLL DC style.

I'd love DC collectibles to do a line of action figures based on the comics.
Not mattel.
That way all the motuc fans wont rave about stuff they don't want to see in the line. Totally separate.
But it will never happen because mattel won't let another company show them how it's done right.

I'm not really a fan of the character designs in the DC comics, so I say NO.

I really hate the look of Teela, and not just because she's blonde.

The only one I'd be interested in is Despara, but she would be low on my list. We have a lot of POP and Filmation figures to get first.

With Ram Man and Jitsu coming out in a few weeks, some fans might have already gotten their favorites and look to new figures to ask for. Or some fans might want Despara or Chainmail He-Man over Filmation characters like Madame Razz and later-day Vintage like Ninjor.

I would vote YES, I would buy some of them.


But, they should only show up if the line continues to thrive, and only after several more Classic characters show up. There's no way they should 'replace' anything that's been on the drawing board.

I'd love a new DC He-Man. I think that it's one of my favorite versions of him.

No, I personally don't care for comics, and MOTUC has enough issues with the remaining figures from all the factions we have had in the past 30 years, without adding new variants and characters to the list.

If the Comics, or another media spawned another line, then like MOTUC I would weigh each one on a figure by figure basis, but honestly, once MOTUC is done, I'll have my ultimate MOTU collection, no need to collect another line of the same characters again.

If I do collect another MOTU line it will be the Vintage figures, IF, I ever get enough money to buy carded versions. Other than that I may see how I feel about a new line figure by figure....I easily passed on everything 200X, I hated the styling.
