Just watched my first NA episode.

Curious and interested in the classics NA figures, I finally checked out episode 1. And y'know, I loved it! NA may have just won over a fan today! Any stand out episodes I should watch next?

Me too! I just watched my first episode last week (from the 30th Anniversary set). Waiting for NA He-Man Volume 1 to arrive to I can watch the rest in order since all of the episodes aren't on the 30th Anniversary set

I hate the first 3 Episodes why tehy going far from the mini comics and Bastei Comics!
I love the old He-man become the new one!
...but a lot of later Episodes are Masterwork

Just saw an awesome!! episode last nite. Everyone was telling the same story from their own point of view- Flipshot, Slushy, etc... Very tight script and very funny. Not sure of the title though...

As I've said many times, I was not aware of the comics until I came on the he-man.org board. For whatever reason, Mattel chose not to make me aware of the comics when they made the initial toyline presentation to me, preferring me to come up with my own way of making the storyline work.


To MLHumble: you are referring to the thirty-eighth episode, FOUR WAYS TO SUNDOWN. I appreciate your praise. I crafted the episode as a send-up of RASHOMON, in an effort to make a tribute to one of my favorite directors, Akira Kurosawa.

When I write many episodes of a series I sometimes indulge in doing a bit of an homage to my favorite directors. Another time I did this was for an episode of SUPER MARIO BROTHERS entitled KOOPA KLAUS, in which I wrote a subtle parody of CITIZEN KANE. Not everyone is a rabid student of entertainment history, so not everyone gets it when I do this. But that's okay. Some things you just do for yourself, hoping at the same time that others just enjoy your work.
