Problem with He-Man.org???

I have been trying to get on He-Man.org ALL day using my desktop computer. I have cleared cookies, tried using IE, Chrome, and Firefox, etc. But nothing.

Anyone else having problems?

BTW I am only able to use the app on my phone to get on the site, but I dont really like having to use my phone bc it hurts my eyes. lol.

I get an error most of the time now, I can only get on every so often

Yeah, I keep getting an error as well, but from my phone I can still see tons of people replying to posts. Guess it just doesn't like me. Lol.

I flushed my DNS cashe a couple of times yesterday and that cleared up my forum problem of going to the old server and getting a somewhat snarky (possibly a poor attempt at humor

) error message. That's the only problem I've had recently.

Been having issues on and off the past two days... considering it's ToyFair weekend, I wish they would have chosen a different weekend to do whatever behind-the-scenes stuff they're doing that's causing all the errors

I have refreshed at least 50 times today, but doesnt work.

I haven't seen any of those problems and I'm using internet explorer.

You are lucky. I have been having these problems since 5am this morning.

Guess I will just keep using my phone until its fixed. Just hope more of us are having the problem or it wont get fixed if its just me

No, I was having issues with viewing the forums as well, only I kept receiving a vBulletin message that stated that if I could read said message, then I was looking at the old server. It prompted me to "shut down my browser or something", or try "complaining to my ISP, bet they'd listen"

I cleared out my cookies, cache, rebooted, you name it. Curiously, I opened up a new browser in IE, and that seemed to work fine for the most part. As of today though, no more problems, so hopefully you'll have no more problems soon enough

I was getting an error last night that told me my browser (Firefox) was looking for the "old" server and provided the IP address of the "new" server. And the IP address of the "new" server didn't seem to go anywhere. Everything has been fine today though, I figured it was just a server hiccup.

Ah, so it’s not just me. Yesterday was incredibly annoying. It wouldn't let me on the forums. Kept on saying that their server has changed or something. The message they leave is incredibly condescending and unhelpful. Today has been bad, too. Its basically been doing it all day. Seems the problem is on their end. Not too pleased about this, TBH.

Only once did I receive a message that He-man.org was setting up a new server and to check back. I came back five mnutes later and there was no problem. Have been on half a dozen times since and not a single problem. Kim has a ton of filters and firewalls and whatever else the technical names are on our computers. I'm low tech so I don't know if any of that means anything. Kim's very high tech -- a former Bose Stereo exec -- so she knows a lot of this stuff. Again, I don't know whether or not that would matter but I've had no problems.

I know the problem didnt initiate on my end, but just wondering if their is anything else I can do. I have tried different browsers, cleared cache/cookies/history, restarted computer, refreshed, etc.

Using my phone to access the app is just annoying.

The admins are aware of the technical issues. Sorry folks are having issues - hopefully we'll have an update on the situation soon.

Yeah, everything seems back to normal.

I kept getting the same "You are on the old server, it must be a problem on your end, good luck" message slackrguy mentioned, but thankfully the problem appears to be fixed now.
