Mantenna eyes in a weapons pack?

Toyguru said no plans at this time, however, I think fan interest is there for getting the original vintage figure's eyes in a weapons/accessories pack.

This is by no means a thread to change Mantenna, He is perfect. I simply think it would be fun to get the original toy's eyes to change the look.

The original toy had blue pedicels and white bloodshot eyes.

I totally want the vintage bloodshot eyes!

Not only is it the classic look for Mantenna, it was also immortalized in TTT!

I am 100% on board with this idea.

Not having the bloodshot eyes is my only disappointment concerning Mantenna, one of my favorite characters.

I was hoping Mantenna would be done in the vintage style but with four separate legs. Other than not having his vintage eyes, he turned out just as I hoped. So, if Mattel can find a way to produce the vintage bloodshot eyes, Mantenna will be just about perfect for me.

I'm just fine with the Animated styled eyes, so I voted no, because I don't care about them, and this version of Mantenna is exactly what I hoped for. But, maybe someday they'll do it because they would be a nice addition to him, for the Vintage fans, and I'd have a set for nostalgic purposes, I still have my Vintage figure.

Yeah. I'm all over this. I don't mean to take away from the figure because it is phenomenal, I would really love some vintage blood shot eyes as well. That would make him perfect.

The eyes seem like an easy add in for a weapons pack or somewhere else. The tooling is now there, so hopefully Mattel gets these vintage eyes out.

yeah fun and good idea. mind you would they even consider that? not too much paint deco like a head?

mind you i wouldnt use them but its always nice to increase display options.

If were gonna make cosmetic changes to Mantenna, I'd much rather get a Don Knots face/head.

Because I personally have no use for them, and now especially after seeing the figure on my shelf, and comparing it to my Vintage version....I'm really glad it has the yellow eyes, it adds a Filmation nod to the figure, plus I never cared for the Bloodshot eyes.

I never cared for the Vintage bloodshot eyes either, as I always liked the 200X staction's yellow eyes (which ultimately came from Filmation).

However, I would support the Vintage fans getting their bloodshot eyes and the Filmation fans getting their Mantenna mouth, although I personally would have no use for those elements.
