And to all the folks who say Filmation isn't detailed enough to fit into Classics, while a Filmation
He-Man head is still my top want in this line, I wouldn't want or expect it to look exactly like this, when and if we get it, it should be the Filmation head put through the "Classicizing" machine, which I have every faith would result in making it fit right in!

The face is waaaay off! Even my wife commented on the face. Colors are nice though.

Yeah, no the face is leaving much to be desired, the rest looks decent enougn, but if it's going to be claiming to be Filmation, then the face should be spot on, otherwise....it's just another He-Man statue even with the hair, colors and all.

Hate to say it, but that looks pretty poor. Not at all interested in these.
I really hope Mattel doesn't approve this likeness. He-man looks awful. I would definitely not buy that.

That's definitely not Filmation He-Man. The face is just totally wrong. I've seen customs and now there's this official one and still no one has been able to do a proper Filmation He-Man.
I am fan too and I want this to be the best it can be.
We heard you, so don't worry I am going back to make some revisions especially on the head/face!

I think the angle of the photo isn't doing the piece a lot of justice, so I'd like to see a couple more shots from a more neutral angle.
That said, for my tastes the pure Filmation look doesn't have enough detail, so IMO the piece is way too bland.
You right, I think you need to see more photos. We are waiting for Mattel's comments in order to post more.
The Filmation look is very clean, so to play that up we added some cool paint apps.
He has some shadows to simulate the animation and some black lines to further call out the hand drawing aspect.
It really does look "animated", it's a nice homage to the cartoon!
Oh Wow. Those eyes are really close together. That's a very...unique...look.

I agree about the face. I tend to buy all things MotU even if it's something that isn't great, but I wouldn't buy that.

I don't get the dissatisfaction....I think it looks fantastic. And as Joe said he's tweaking it I have no doubt it'll look like it lept of the screen. Good start and I hope it gets approved. An accurate Filmation He-Man would be awesome!

Very much congrats, and it's fine. I think people are overstating things, as they are wont to do. Sadly negativity always gets amplified to cartoon levels.
That being said face could be tweaked. Cant wait to see what comes out. I would buy as is, but am going to love a bit more filmation-esque. pretty dang close!
Looks cool, but it's just not somethign I am into. I prefer to just go with the figs and comics. I'm not a closet collector, but such items (decorative) are frowned upon at my work, so it will be a no go for me...but it does look very nice.
