Is Jitsu supposed to have black on his head?

Got Jitsu today. Opened him up to find black on this head. Maybe I should take a picture.
It not his hair... its on his bald area.
Anyone else have this? Is it a paint app error? Or is it supposed to be like...stubble or something?

Okay I just took some pictures. But with the lighting it's not showing up as well or rather as obvious as it does in real life.
In other words it looks worse in person.

So it seems the general consensus seems to be that this...black blotch...was intentional, and supposed to be "stubble"... Im not sure why they thought that necessary...but whatever. Some people like this extra detail. I am normally all for extra detail. (Oh, excuse me..."hyper detail" I guess is the term for extra details. hehe. Teasing, teasing) I am just not crazy about this particular one. I thought it was a paint app error...as that's what it looks like on mine anyway.

I just feel it would have been better off without this particular detail. At least mine would have... its very inconsistent on the top of his head, and it even comes down on his forehead... So he shaves his forehead???

Its NOT "nit-picking"...I have never seen stubble on a persons forehead... have you??? It is immature to call this nit-picking. I still love the figure. People have a right to like something or not. Let's not be jerks about each other's tastes. Really. Be nice!
It's not like we are saying the figure sucks or something. And I didn't personally notice the "small head" so that doesnt bother me personally. But it's not nit-picking if it does.

My personal preference would be that they had not done this though. The figure is awesome...but for me, this does detract from it.
On mine it just looks like a bad paint flaw.
Maybe the guys that are liking it have better apps or something (and that's cool), because I find it hard to believe they are supposed to look like mine does.

Just checked mine. He has a very light black wash on the top of his head where it is bald. It's not dark black or a black mark though.

My Ram Man had a black mark on his right bicep but I was able to get it off with some water and light rubbing. Hope this helps.

A picture would be best to determine this I think.

Mine has a dark gray/brown spot on top of the head...doesn't ruin the figure...just looks weird.

I got my Jitsu today and though I'm not having this issue, I did notice his gold glove did not have the paint apps applied to the 4 dots, I believe it was suppose to be green color paint apps applied here?

I have two subs and both of mine have a strange black spot on the top of their head.

Looking at him again I am assuming that it is supposed to be shadowing from where he maybe shaves his head? Mine does not look as bad as that picture though. I bet you this is yet another "design" decision from Mattel to add shading ala Netossa's cape. I would consider getting him replaced if it bothers you because I am sure that most are not that bad.

I notice the spray over on mine as well. Although its not astetically nice to look at. I like it because it lets me add more of a back story to Jitsu.
I like to think that this is a result of a bout of insomina in snake mountain one night. After catching the hair in a can informerical, that gave promise of a full head of hair that no one will ever know came from a can. Jitsu quickly realized his fantasy of have a full head of lucious silky smooth hair was now a reality. Shortly after using the product and after being laughed out of every singles bar in Eternia for what was painfully obvious as spray paint on his head. Jitsu joined the evil warriors and has sworn revenge on Billy "Fisto" Mays, for making false promises on TV.

Thats what i thought, the black plastic is back. Maybe its designs fault, the same person that wanted Netossa to have that black spot. QC issues just keep coming and coming. I really hope someone wasnt stupid enough to go well he shaves his head lets do a different colour of paint. The vintage character has no colour difference.

Mine has it too but its not that noticeable. Its a brownish faded wash which doesn't bother me at all. In typical fashion, first comes the excitement and the positive comments in the arrival thread then comes the nit-picking and the groans days later, "just like you don't remember!"

I noticed it on both my Jitsus today and I agree with those that say that it looks terrible. I really or look like a bad paint job. It was the first thing I noticed out of the package.
