How does one guy selling him at that price go to show you that "he isn't worth the super high cost?" It's obvious that, that isn't the at least "average" price for him and just some guy looking to unload him.

It's no different that some one asking some ridiculous high price either. If one guy lists it for $150 does that mean that he's now "worth" that? They're both extremes, one on the low end of the spectrum and one on the high, but neither the norm.

Any one that follows this stuff knows that $40 shipped is not what he's generally going to be going for....

I haven't paid over $40 for any figure, be it club or SDCC exclusive and any of the heavy hitters. I'm a cherry picker without a sub. So to me, no, he nor any other figure in the line is not worth the high prices that are being asked or payed. I understand supply and demand but I also understand scalping.
