Thanks for the headsup. I was able to pre-buy Dr Manhattan for 25 shipped, much cheaper than Matty which would be 35+

it just goes to show that he actually ISN'T worth the super high costs. if more people would be willing to help or hold out we'd see a lot more for less. i'm just going to have to accept the fact that i won't be getting him unless he goes down.

He might not be that popular when people notice the stroke lip.

hard to say if it's a problem with the mold, or intentional.

I agree, it looks like a past battle wound. Maybe it was intentional.

I want one, started a breadline awhile ago but no luck. It's strange he's fetching high prices while people bad mouth him a lot.

there is a joke there with bad mouth and swollen lip just can't put my fingers on it.

I still for the most part like him, I think his face is a bit narrow but this is partially an issue with the beard and head size of most figures.

Also we are dealing with the fanboy mentality. Worst He-man ever I can't believe (clicks to purchase 15) why anyone would buy one, he is so horrible (keeps some in package with the new motuc cases others get opened up for their five different displays, the other five are sold at 175 bucks) and why anyone would pay more than 25 bucks for one is beyond me.

I think he will be a love or hate figure though.

Burger King He-man? I'd sell him in a second if I had a sub.

How does one guy selling him at that price go to show you that "he isn't worth the super high cost?" It's obvious that, that isn't the at least "average" price for him and just some guy looking to unload him.

It's no different that some one asking some ridiculous high price either. If one guy lists it for $150 does that mean that he's now "worth" that? They're both extremes, one on the low end of the spectrum and one on the high, but neither the norm.

Any one that follows this stuff knows that $40 shipped is not what he's generally going to be going for....

I haven't paid over $40 for any figure, be it club or SDCC exclusive and any of the heavy hitters. I'm a cherry picker without a sub. So to me, no, he nor any other figure in the line is not worth the high prices that are being asked or payed. I understand supply and demand but I also understand scalping.

yeah, it looks like a battle wound. The scar probably caused lots of damage leading to the Bell's Palsy effect. I guess it's believable!

So Skeletor bumper jacked him on the head so hard it caused paralysis of cranial nerve VII?
