i know there are a few people who make them real cheap and id like to add one to my vintage loose collection. Anyone know who can do this for me, how much it will cost or have one they would like to sell?

Yeah, the hair was the hardest part. Well actually (now that I think about it) it was hard not getting paint on the legs and midsection when painting the belt area.

I don't know what they are supposed to be, but since I was only doing it for myself I took the liberty to do it that way. It was my first and only custom.

Sorry, but I'm not interested in doing any customs. I merely was trying to let you know that even a non-customizer like myself did it pretty easily and so can you. Granted it isn't as great as a pro will do, but I am happy with it. You should give it a shot.

Here's the one I made, but I sold him years ago:



I used a fiso body, since his undies are already brown, and his belt and boots were so dark purple that if the black paint ever got scratched it would still look blackish. I masked him off with lots of blue tape, and sprayed the paint on, this way I had no brush marks and I could clear coat it easily too without over-spray.

The arms and head of course were from He-Man, the armor from the weapon's pack, and the weapons, I'm not sure where they come from, I'm guessing the Man-e-Faces extra weapon pack.

I spent about 2 hours masking him as perfect as I could around the belt, the boots, I left low on purpose to match the way the original looked. It was a piece of art.

You can do it. Take your time, get some Krylon black paint for plastic. Use both figures to make the one. Look for the darker purple painted Fisto on eBay.

I used a Buzz-Off ax and cut off the round part of the handle. lol.

You should look up the .org member Tyke. He made me a Faker Teela and she turned out AWESOME!!! I had an EU member make me a custom WB He-Man a few years ago and I think it was like $40 shipped.

That is a great idea, personally I charge too much to custom paint.
