    RIP my Father

    It's been a rough couple months for my family. My daughter was born 3 weeks ago and in the very early morning of 3/7/2013 my father passed away from lung cancer. He was a strong, loving, caring man and We will miss him. RIP 11/29/1947-3/7/2013
    Does this loin cloth make my butt look big?

    I wanted to add a poem I wrote for him yesterday.

    Father

    Strong, gentle, wise
    Teaching me life
    Showing me love
    A hero in every way
    A model of what a man should be
    My Father
    You knew when I needed help
    Gave me advice
    Brave, caring, great
    You taught me
    More than you know
    While letting me learn
    In my own way
    I love you lots
    As much as any son can
    But most of all
    You are the GREATEST
    Man there will ever be.
    I Thought I don’t
    Say it as much as I should
    I love you very much.
    Does this loin cloth make my butt look big?

    Thank you everyone. This first day was trying but we made it through. I think what really helped was that we have been able to set up his memorial the way he wanted. Being a veteran he will be honored as he should be, with TAPS, 21 gun salute, and his flag. I have to praise hospice and the VA in making sure this all happens.

    I've said a prayer for you and your family, and as I remember you throughout the coming days I will pray more. God is near to those of a broken heart Psalm 34:18. And remember, God (YAHWEH) inhabits the praise of His people Psalm 22:3. When Paul and Silas were imprisoned (Acts 16) they worshiped God despite they're circumstances, recognizing that God's goodness transcends sin and death, and that the two are mutually exclusive, i.e. difficult or overwhelming circumstances do not reveal God to be evil, but rather are a chance for those who are faithful in the midst of tough trials to call on the living God to take action on their behalf. Remember Psalm 34:18.
