    _____

    Get ready for this!

"In a time when hope was a rarity, a young warrior rose and gathered the free people of Eternia under his banner, fighting the evil oppression of the Snake Men."

This illustration has been painted exclusively for the Grayskull Convention by the marvellous Rudy Obrero - master of boxarts from vintage and MOTUC times!
Thank you so much, Rudy! Youīre awesome!

Meanwhile, we wanna start a fun contest!

This is a call to all artists, painters, graphic designers and all others who keep He-Man and the Masters of the Universe alive with their illustrations.

It's time again for a contest and there is something great to win: We're giving away two of our con-exclusive Grayskull Standarts!

If you canīt make it to Grayskull Con, but desperatly want this cool accessory (and why wouldnīt you?), this is your chance to get one - for free!

Now you ask yourself: Just WHAT do I have to do? It's simple: You have to do nothing more than to include the standart in one of your pictures - be it as a decorative element, as the focus or just as a detail on the edge. It does not matter if you draw a completely new image or transform an existing image. Apart from that there are only three rules:

    1) It has to be a scenery. Whether it is a quiet idyll on Etheria, a fight on Eternia or a wild creature on Preternia does not matter, nor whether the Vintage, Classic, POP, NA or 200X style is maintained. A scenery, no character study and not a portrait on a white background.
    2) The Flagpole needs to be part of the picture. It is not enough simply to quickly paint the image on a picture, it has to be part of the scene.
    3) It must be clearly visible - no "Where's Waldo" image or a black standart in a dark cave at midnight. As I said: It does not have to stand in the foreground, but it must be a recognizable detail of the image.

Then you simply upload the picture where your works presented - in forums, Facebook, Deviantart, and/or wherever you want and then send us a link to your work - done!

The Con-Cil will pick the first winner. The second one will be chosen by the fans attending the convention. The more fans you can get excited for your illustration prior to the convention, the better your chances to win!

    The decision is final.

    Have fun and good luck!

    Sounds amazing!

    Shamelessly promoting myself here...

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, the sheets of my panels this year will feature English text.
So, though I'm gonna talk in German, international fans hopefully will have a basic outline about the stuff I'm babbling.
So please make it worthwhile by attending! There will be sweets, too!
