what they should have done was credited it towards next month.. because alot of us international fans will get dinged on conversion rates,, we had to Buy USD and Sell CND , now have to SELL USD to BUY CND to credit it back.. causing a nice Loss. but if it's just a credit that makes much more sense as no one really looses out.

How much additional cost did it add, I wonder? It's paper and not much of it, so not exactly impacting to the overall 'footprint' from a shipping weight perspective.

With the regular over charges incurred monthly and now this random charge what else can they possibly do to ruin your vision before you call them out? I do remember you mentioning a sit down with their reps(?) some time ago to resolve these things? NO BUENO AMIGO!!!

It's pretty bad that the extra shipping charges happened in the first place but I do appreciate that they addressed this issue so quickly. The refunds are the right thing to do so, to whoever it was that took care of the customers, thanks!
It does suck that our fellow international collectors also got hit with additional custom fees, though...I wish that was being refunded too.
It COULD be a good news IF Digital River and Matty's services were working properly. Alas, it is NOT the case, and I'm pretty confident that many refunds will never find their way to the customers' bank accounts...

Were we not supposed to get refunds for DR charging to much for shipping when Teela came out as well? I remember another figure that they charged us to high for shipping and stated we'd get a refund that never came.

I have been sending e-mails back and forth with DR customerservice. I am trying to get a new receipt with correct and accurate billing information but they just keep directing me to the invoice which has no information on costs.

That's good about the refunds. Does anyone remember if Mattel did anything to fix the Battleground Teela shipping error? According to shipping prices, she weighed more than Faceless One. Mattel said they were looking into it, but I don't recall a conclusion on the matter. Did anything ever come of it?![]()

As a UK customer who uses DHL my subscription shipping came to an obscene $47.25. I too add my voice to the demands for our excess custom fees to be refunded. Additionally, my email address has NOT received the promised email and it is definitely correctly listed on Mattel/Digital River's records.
Received no email yet regarding refund, but instead DR is still telling me the overcharge is correct. Seems DR CS is really informed about what is going on. Sigh! These people are awesome!
