    Whao!!! Now this is the type of custom I like.. it looks so "real" like as in the way it's styled it really looks like it could be a part of the original vintage line up.. great great job.. awesome choice of colors and great idea in the 1st place.. awesome. did you make up the idea or is this a pic from Tomarts or something similar?

    That's great. An awesome custom, to say the least. How did you make it? And does anybody know what his action feature was?

    That is just seven shades of awesome, man! I like the idea of the Horde recruiting a mummy in their ranks somewhere! Those kinda sand-controlling (etc) powers would totally fit in within the ranks of Hordak's posse.

    The colour scheme is flawless. It just totally works and feels "right". I tip my hat to ye, good sire.

    I've been robbed!

    That's a concept from mattel? I submitted that type of design WAY BACK when they did that create a master of the universe contest that fearless photog won ( KINDA )

    I called it D-K or D-cay and it had a pharoah head dress but way more of the abs exposed you were supposed to use it's guts ( that were going to be made from those sticky finger thingies ) to trap other masters as well as bone weapons that you could pull out of figures arms and legs

    I never saw this till today thats weird... makes me wonder.

    By the way thats a really great custom GW top notch vintage for sure

    thanks alot guys! im by far not finished. he's at the looks like stage of creation. i do have plans to add in an action feature. but i'll keep that under wraps for now this is a concept peice shown in tomarts. i tried my best to keep him true to the reference pic but added some minor flare. the base figure much to your disappointment is webstor. the rest is time and sculpting. this is one of many concept piece i will bring to life. my last one was hans-some. my next is ....

    AWESOME! About time someone did this guy Now do Tank Top! ^____^
    People who say certain characters should never be remade is stupid. Throw rocks at them.

    I support Filmation characters for MOTUC! Let Mattel know it's worth their while to get the rights to those characters!

    8O!!! Come again? I see no real similarity between the two, except maybe a superficial similar body structure. If anything, Tank Top has more in common with "Horde Evil Robot" prototype, which in turn is more like Mosquitor then Saurod....but that's just me.

    Maybe he is talking about the action feature? In the old days Mattel often had the idea for an action feature first and then designed the figure around it. Tank Top would be a good figure for spark spitting.

    Fear-ro is a cool idea and a cool costum! I'd love to see some more concept drawing - customs.

    By the way: I like the custom and I like the concept drawing, but I'm not sure if I like this Mummy idea. Come on, what a kind of lame idea is this? Hey, we need a new figure Design! Well, lets just do a mummy!
    What would have been next? A vampire for the snakemen? A Werewolf for skeletors guys? Frankenstein as part of the good guys?

    isnt hordak a vampire?

    the horde to me always seemed like

    hordak = dracula
    grizzlor = werewolf
    leech = the creature
    mantenna = sci-fi monster

    Interesting take there, Galaxy. There may just be some truth in that - even if only as a subconscious thought when the designers made them. The more I think about it, the more that seems to make sense. But that's fine - because I love those Universal Monsters and the like anyway!

    Those universal monsters were REALLY popular back then So there's no doubt in my mind they had that in mind when designing them. The Mummy seemed like a logical choice even for me back then

    Everyone is forgetting MODULOK = Frankenstein Basicaly franks made of different pieces to form one person same idea with modulok
    is There a Dr. jeckl/hyde I can't think
