KING THUNDAR - Green Stuff Exerise

    Hi my friends,
today i've started using Green Stuff, to sculpt fur, beards and hairs.
Someone said me, this material is the best to sculpt hairs, so i've bought it.
The fundamental trick is to wet the sculpting tool in the water frequently, so the paste doesn't attacks to the tool.
I've tried on the Randor's head, working firstly on hair locks and later rendering with a dentist awl.

    Hope you like it

I love green stuff and 99% of my customs are build with it. I know there is better stuff etc, but although green stuff might be harder to work with for some purposes as to magic sculp etc., you can't beat that plastiqy feel it gives. Especialy in vintage figures it feel's like the real toy

And great stuff on the sculp! Randor on a Snout spout with no lower part, mmmmmm intrigued!
Nope.... nothing here! Just a link to my site http://motumulder.webklik.nl/page/fotoalbum with customs!

That is a great job, Ive never tried the stuff myself, though I've had a roll of it for some time now. I'm also very interested in the finished product, looks like a cool character.
I had no idea the green stuff cured a bit soft, thats very cool to know, makes me want to try it even more now.

    Thnx my friends,
the Snout body is only used as a support to hold the head, it was the first thing I found near to hand: P
I've done practiced on my child's plasticine

Thnx a lot, your comments that inspires me to do more of this in the best way

There is some play if you don't work in to thick layers. The helmets I make have a bit of play so the 'plop' over a head where, for instance, magic sculp would break would be my best example. But it's not like you can bend it backwards over itself but it's great stuff.

I believe that beard registers about 10.5 "Bear punches" on the Manly Scale. Well done!

Holy crap! It's ME a few years ago when my hair and beard were thicker (okay I have more red than he does, though). VERY well done! I need to try some of this green stuff people keep using. All the customs I've seen with it are totally awesome!

That is cool, thanks for the tips.
The custom came out nice, I like the incorporation of MOTUC into vintage. Nice paintwork on the figure to match the armor too!
