MOTUC Forgotten Realms: Drizzt Do'Urden Custom

Here's one I wanted to do for a long time. I give you, Drizzt Do'Urden, the much loved Forgotten Realms character! The Drizzt books are some of my favorite of all time and if you're not familiar with them, I encourage you to get reading. I thought this guy would be a little easier to do but balancing the darks and minimal colors while still making things look cool, stand out, and fit with MOTUC was sorta tricky. I gave his skin a slight lavender hue, vs just doing it pure black or gray. I am giving some thought into going back and doing more detail and dry-brushing but I kind of want him to fit the level of detail of the regular MOTUC figures.

He is fully poseable with removable shoulder armor and cape. He holds his curved blades, Twinkle and Icingdeath. I took a few liberties with the swords, especially Icingdeath as its left up to your imagination a little bit in the books. I also gave him a shield that seemed a perfect nod to Guenhwyvar, his beloved magical black panther. On his feet, these boots were a perfect way to include his Bracers of the Blinding Strike. He has a two-toned metallic green cloak. I used the amulet of the cloak to feature Mielikki, the Unicorn goddess of Rangers, instead of doing a necklace. I may add Agatha's Mask and the figurine to call Guenhwyvar at a point later on. Anyhoo, you guys can lemme know what ya think.

Nice Job! Drizzt looks like he should while still looking like he belongs in MOTUC.
I especially like your fourth photo- he looks like how I think Todd Lockwood has had him hold his swords before (he is in a state of extreme Drizzt readiness)
Very imaginative with the shield for Guenhwyvar!
Nice use of colors too. Kudos!

    Drizzt books spoiler alert

You can also just easily include Bow's bow or alter it when Drizzit uses Taulmaril

One of my best friends has been a Drizzt fan for a looong time & he loves to tell me his story over and over (and over and over and over) again. VERY neat looking figure!

Good call on using Bow's bow. I didn't even think about that option. I'll keep that one in mind - thanks. I've done my share of pushing the Drizzt stories too. There are a lot of them to tell and Salvatore's writing is so involving and expansive. Apart from the Dragonlance books, I think they're hard to match. I'd like to get to some of the other characters, especially Entreri and Jarlaxle.
