They look great! I don't need a Rokkon or a Stonedar, but if I was a big fan of the rock warriors I'd be totally stoked.

Where the HELL is Granita!??! I'm being forced to buy a 3-pack of characters I never wanted in a million years, who had an obscured appearance on some licensed packaging of model kits, and are TONS of reuse... but the 3rd character, of an essential group is MISSING from the SDCC item that gets it's own tooling budget!??! WTH?!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Say that Granita is the July Filmation figure so that we'll get all 3 Rock people!
They already announced the July figure, and it isn't her.

AWESOME!!! I love the Rock People so much! I had virtually all the figures growing up and these guys were two of my favorites!!! They were pleasantly different from the other figures - yet fit in perfectly. I remember them being so much fun to play with. I am so happy it is the Rock People this year!!! AND they won't take up 2 slots!

Not bad. I'll try to acquire them. If not, no big deal.

Amazing figures! They were two of my favourites when I was a kid...

I wonder if the SDCC items will be available with early access before 8-5

Well the rumors are true.I'll need to see more pictures before I make any further comments but I love how they look all folded up.The rock sculpting looks great.Very true to vintage look.Btw I don't understand how people think they look boring.Must be a small minority because these 2 are creative designs and definitely Motu.

Those bands are the clips, both got regular upper legs.

Mattel made the right decision of making them as a 2-pack and as a SDCC Exclusive. They're not as demanded as other vintage figures and for many people, they're not essentiell. A 3-pack would prevent many potential buyers from purchase these guys, because of the price point. They are also the perfect combination between vintage and Filmation with those clip-on-pieces.

If these guys have the same quality as the figures in the last half year, they absolutly are the best SDCC Exclusive to date.

I have to say, that Mattel has a strong sense for good character selection at the moment. 2013 is a really good year for fans so far. Mattel does everything right.

They look great and im glad The Rock warriors are finally part of MOTUC and to release them in a two pack makes sense.

That said, i really expect Granita to be part of the FILMATION sub. The female Rock Warrior and the green Rock Warrior from the mini comics could come as in two pack as well…? i know those are just dreams and is very unlikely but at least they are sort of mentioned as Stonedars rock people

The issue with their thigh attachments or lack on some of the pictures is irritating. I hope that will be cleared up in the next few weeks.

I like them and im really looking forward to them. a big plus are their real names! FINALLY!

2013 is an amazing year for MOTUC !!!!!!!!!

Funny how the vintage figures can transform with out having to add massive seperate pieces onto them, but the new ones can't.

OMGZ, I love them!!! I was anxiously awaiting these guys. They've always been a favorite of mine. I remember seeing the commercial back in the day and was pumped ever since. I still have my vintage ones. I even used them as paperweights during my high school years.

It's because of the proportions of head, torso and limbs. The new versions are more accurate sculpted than the vintage ones.

One is a kids' toy with 5 points of articulation, the other is a collectiible toy with multiple points of articulation.
The kids toys had action features, while the adult toys have modern articulation.

Despite being in the minority, i really hope we get another MOTUC exclusive. Something obscure and unexpected like the Light Hope guesses, soemthing along those lines.
