Hum... OOOOOOOOOK ! I hope we NEVER see an action figure of THAT particular Skeletor (and if we do, I won't buy it, anyway) ! It's a mix between Skeletor and Tuskador, but frankly, it looks bad, I think.IGN.com posted info about the new look for Skeletor in the crossover.
They really need somebody who'll be able to create a very cool design. Not a rushed job like this one... Oh, and fortunately, I don't read these comics, which avoids more shocks. The old vintage comics and mini-comics are way better, IMO, and are enough for me.

Can honestly say I am not a fan of the new skeletor look.

Is it bad that the first thing I did was laugh? I don't think Skeletor should make me laugh. His helmet thing just looks so ridiculous.
Take part in Illumina Day! Let people know who she is and help get her in MOTUC.
You can join the Illumina Facebook page here!
I don't have an issue with the look. He looks Apokoliptan to me.
I don't know (or much care) if it is Mattel telling DC what to do or if DC or just trying to be "clever" but what is the problem with having the characters look like themselves?
Why can't we get a comic where this guy
fights this guy
is that really too much to ask?
Yeah, this "Skeletor" is...it's pretty bad.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti
I'm a big fan of Tuskador but I didn't think Skeletor was as well... I guess dc proved me wrong
I know he lost his jaw at the end of the miniseries, but I wonder why he now has tusks? Must be like those power changes he had in the NA series.
I don't think it's a bad design, but it isn't Skeletor. Do DC hate MOTU? They seem to want to change every design and personality. Why not let a creative team who care about the property make a comic.
Holy cow, that's terrible...
Por el Poder de Grayskull!!!...
Ya tengo el poder!!
My Feedback thread!!
Thank goodness the cover has the MotU logo and "Skeletor Unleashed". Otherwise, I would've wondered what I'm looking at.
Now I demand a "Skeletor Unleashed vs' Super Shredder" poster available at Power-Con!
"Why's Dragstor riding on Night Stalker?" "Cause he can."
I'm gonna try to be constructive here...
With all of these DC redesigns... I would just like to know if there's a compelling reason for the outfit changes. (Keep in mind I've not read the most recent book, still waiting on the mailman for that one.)
If there's a purpose and a story to the armor (and lack of jaw?) Then cool. I look forward to that story.
If it's just... "Hey look at our new Skeletor design!" Just because some guy wanted to change an icon, and only honor the original design with color? Meh... Then it's just not how I would like to see Skeletor. It's far enough removed from what Skeletor is, that it's a whole new character.
And maybe that's what they're after? Who knows?
Yes, my initial reaction is that I'm not wild about it. But I'm game to give the story a shot and see why they're doing what they're doing.
We do know, that this is a "return from the dead" Sort of Skeletor, so change is expected... To be fair.
What a steaming pile of crap!..... Not the skill in the art work by any means, but man that's a bad look
Merchandising, probably... But it wouldn't go far with such a bad design.I would just like to know if there's a compelling reason for the outfit changes.
I kinda like it, he looks powered up and design wise all the basics are still present - blue skin, yellow skull, purple armor just with havoc staff motif.
I think the He-Man redesign was more of a departure.
MOTUC WISHLIST - Karg | Lady Slther | Kothos | Staghorn | Sorceress of Serpos Teela | Hunga the Harpy | Kittrina | Dylamug | Hawke | Angast | Zilora | Artilla | Quakke | Robo-Woman | Great Black Wizard | Enchantress | Red Beast | Delora | DC He-Man | DC Skeletor | Lodar | Fang-Or | Mini Comics Tri-Klops | Filmation Jitsu, Frosta & Kobra Khan | Hans Hammer Holder | Granita |
Half his face still resembles Skeletor. He doesn't look good by any means though. The biggest travesty is He-Man's armor. I dislike the character designs across the board for Masters of the Universe. Rather pathetic considering the revamps for DC heroes don't stray too much from what you would expect in this modern era, but because Masters of the Universe isn't recognizable to this generation they have to butcher the designs to make them more modern.
The designs are just not appealing at all.
I don't mind a redesign as I didn't care for the cluttered look he had in the miniseries but... well, this certainly isn't what I was looking for.
Hopefully this is just a temporary "power-up" for the DC vs. MOTU miniseries and not something we're stuck with.
As others have said, why can't MOTU just look like MOTU? Please?
Is that Teela in the background with new armour too?
Stop it, DC. Just stop it.

The Cradle Will Rock As I'm Drivin' Down Highway 40 In My Big Ol' Pick Up Truck.
Yeah. He's either got some power running through him or He's fused with somebody. ~If~ that is the case, I'm totally fine with it.
If not, he looks like poo. He holds the Havok Staff, he doesn't fit inside it.
