Could it be some sort of game piece?

TOP 5 MOST WANTED: Filmation Whiplash, Filmation Ram Man, Filmation Two-Bad, Ice Armor He-Man, and Snake Mountain Man
Thanks.
BTW, this message was posted 7 years ago. Unfortunately the pics no longer exist, but maybe someone can e-mail the person.
Hello again,
I have a rare boxed set from POST and Mattel that was provided to grocery store owners to cross promote POST cereal, MOTU and Princess of Power toys. The set consists of a box with a backdrop image printed inside, MOTU Battle Armor He-Man, MISB Princess of Power Colorforms, MISP set of cereal premiums and a descriptive scroll. The scroll details the advertizing campain involved, etc.
Note: the He-Man is on a bilingual Canadian card that has only 6 figures shown on the back, so I guess that make's it a six-back. It was made for Mattel Canada in Taiwan. The card is unpunched and has warped due to the bubble pulling on it. The bubble is solidly attached to the card and is crystal clear.
The box has lost it's shape a little on the side that opens but it is still solid. You can see this in the photo.
I am looking for offers on this set as a whole. I have one offer already. I would consider trade but only for vintage 12" GI Joe (USA or Canada), Action Man (UK), Action Joe (France), etc (loose or boxed).
I have extensive feedback on eBay since 1999 for those who wish to find out if I'm for real and trustworthy. You can also check my About Me page to get a better feeling for who I am and what I like.
I can accept PayPal or most other forms of payment when the time comes.
Please email me directly at scifiguy@efni.com for fast responses as I don't regularly check this board.

That is a really cool Hordak piece there. I would love to add that to my son's Hordak collection.
Here's some of the others up close.

Take a look at my deviantart. http://kaassouffle.deviantart.com/gallery/
The size and little plastic stands look very much like these were originally intended for a board game, or something similar. I had a few board games or RPG's that had very similar cardboard miniatures.
Wonder if the original idea was to to a send away for a board game and the company nixed the idea, but not before they started producing these.
- I've got my corn sword, I'm good.
There are no plastic stands with them. Did you guys not have these down in the states? I still remember my mom bringing these to me in the living room with my cereal while I sat and watched cartoons. The good old days.
Need stuff? I might just have it!

I'm always adding stuff!
Wow, this really takes me back. I remember this promotion very well. The pair of cardboard figures my sister and I had gotten from a box of cereal was Stinkor and Angella. I remember the two of us playing with them together and staring at the back of that box and dreaming about those complete collections lol.
