    Ninjor--cloth or sculpted ninja suit?

In this day and age of awesome sculpts, should Skeletor's ninja have a cloth ninja mask and outfit or should he be entirely sculpted (and come with an unmasked head) this time? Would the added articulation work with a cloth covered torso?

Sculpted looks better and lasts longer.

He should come with two heads... one wearing the mask, and one without the mask.

He should be sculpted. The 4H are sculpting-gods.

And he doesn't need to come with two heads, instead it would be cooler if they could sculpt his hood so that it is removable. With todays technology, I think it would be possible.

While I like the look of sculpts, I have to say for Ninjor Cloth, as a homage to the original figure.

There probably won't be ANY armour. Did anyone think of that?

They'll probably use the He-Man torso, put the clan symbol on his chest and have a masked head and an un-masked head. IF the figures have that hideous hole in their backs still, there will be a shealth for his sword and a way to hold the bow & arrow and nun chucks.

    Just my $.02.

This reminds me of my Grandma's movie reviews "Oh that movie's just terrible" she'll say.
"Oh really Grandma. When did you see it?"
"I haven't seen it. I can just tell."

Anyway, I'd like for Ninjor to have a cloth costume, just like the original. If it was the 200X line, I might have picked sculpted. Either way, I'm putting my trust in the 4H's judgment, like always. (That doesn't mean Mattel won't veto them and do the wrong thing.)

We've seen it. Plus, you can usually tell if a movie is terrible from its trailer. This is our trailer:

Is it possible not to have Ninjor at all?
I would prefer not since for my part Ninjor is too close from the real world style (Japanese warrior) instead of Ethernia style. There is a big lack of imagination in this character whereas scare glow is much more interesting and was released at the same time in the first line.

Anyway this is not the debate.

To answer, I would prefer to see a sculted mask with a cloth outfit.
The outfit can't be sculpted (I think) without reducing the mobility of the figure whereas it is possible to sculpt a great mask (slightly different from the original figure but with a much interesting design).

Clothes is fine with me. Plus I doubt they will do a sculpted outfit as that would cost too much money doing a new sculpt for a figure that needs just clothes on him. The new sculpts will probably be for figures that had different ones in the original line..Extendar, Gwildor, Leech, etc.

no guarantee that that is the hole, I understand your logic on why it is but again it isn't proof that THAT is how the hole will look.

I want my ninjor clothed, just like my grizzlor staction the mixed media worked great, they wouldn't just paint a symbol on a bare torso, that would look like the bootleg figures. they'd eith sculpt cloth looking armour or just make the cloth, which IMO would be best- I loved that about ninjor!

Ahh, NINJOR. One of the figures I wanted as a kid, but I never, ever saw. To this day, I have never even seen a picture of him. I only ever saw him in a mini-comic. But he is one of my most desired figures!

I have to vote for sculpted over cloth. Fabric is very, very iffy on any figure smaller than 8" in height, and even then, it often looks ill fitting, and awkward. I think the HORSEMEN could sculpt an awsome looking NINJA outfit.

I thought I was going to vote sculpted until the last second, and I went with cloth. I love soft goods on figures, even when it doesn't work. I agree that the 4HM are Gods among mortal sculpters, but as a nod to the vintage (which I too have never actually laid eyes upon, DC_Warlord!) I would like to see clothing on Ninjor.
Anyone have good pics of this guy, anyhow? I know I could go searching, but you folks are so accommodating anyhow...
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

As far as I can tell, only the mask was cloth. Personally, I think they will go with the SKELETOR body painted black with red monster boots and gloves, but I'm not quite sure how they will handle the hood.

the mask and the vest part are cloth as well as two straps to secure it around the waist which you were able to tie in a few ways and it was helpful to hold his weapons.
